If Bowen a safety gets $1MM++ as a Safety..... I wonder how many 5 star QBs, RBs, WRs, and DE push away and don't sign this signing period to keep looking for a bigger bag??

This thread is why I'm cautioning the board talking about Carr like he's already on the team.
Yes, he appears to be a completely different type of person, but he hasn't received the money pitches yet.
Hopefully he's like Arnold and has a quiet and committed senior season while blowing up the competition.

Given what happened with aTM and the wild west of NiL, I wonder how enforceable are these NIL deals for pay up front? I personally feel these schools are "promising" verbally but nothing is in writing. Hence my feeling there will be some very unhappy idiots in about 9 months...

I’m certain we’ll see some frivolous lawsuits flying, both from kids saying that they haven’t received what they were promised…and from donors/boosters/collectives saying that players haven’t delivered on their end of the deal(s) they made.

Meh, money isn’t the biggest constraint here. We are fighting a monster that is undefeated. IMO, the girlfriend is the long pole.

Man...at what point does the NCAA register and educate Agents for these NIL deals. Make it all out in the open so basically College becomes a professional developmental league.

At what point does HC pay go down because of the need to pay players more thus shrinking total resource pie?

Until NCAA makes this an even and understandable playing field, ND will not play in the sandbox and so our chances for Nattys are severely diminished.

If Freeman somehow pulls it off I am 100% subscribing to that OU board to troll the ever loving shit out of that one mod. I’ll be banned in less than a minute and he can keep my $10 or whatever it costs. Would be worth it. Maybe his mom will let him paint his room in the basement with the cash.
