The article sounds encouraging. Hope he stays Irish as he's a pure running back. That is an awesome pic of the entire group he's in.

I'm sure if the staff is worth their weight they got right on the phone and with Jayden. It's always hard to hold on to the west coast commits and this will not be easy and I won't feel safe on it until his paper is faxed in.

Singer saying he's feeling less confident about him sticking with the Irish. Thinks location to home is one of the biggest reasons. Basically, need to wait and see where he signs unless he makes his intentions clear before then.

We’re going to end up with 1 RB out of three and it’s going to be the least “natural” runner but with highest upside. The Dylan Edwards thing was just absurd. In a million years I never had “Deion Sanders to Colorado which then costs ND a recruit from Kansas” on my radar of things to worry about.

The trolls who had been saying ND wasn't going to close and going to end up with another BK class may be becoming correct...

Removing Limar and Bowen would bring us to a total score of 281.54 with 24 total commits. Last year's class had a 275.44 total score with 22 total commits.

Haha, no kiddin. If this happens, i'd have no problem moving Hilman to rb, even if he's got a similar game to Love. Both would be gamebreakers.
I imagine if Bowen flips, the staff may view the void at safety as a bigger void to be filled and slot him there.

Prefer to keep Limar but if you’re going to only sign 1, Love is far and away the one you need to sign. RB can also sustain the hit unlike WR.

This is also why guys like Roberts or Driskell or whoever at IB that play down visiting other schools are willfully blinding themselves. Limar just recycled Bowen’s excuse but the idea that Limar and BDS were visiting places just for fun or for their brother was always ignorant.

Would still keep Hillman on D long term. You redshirted two RBs in the 2022 class, not like we’re dying for numbers there.

Jesus, Hillman committed less than a week ago, yet it feels like decades with the way these last few days have been. Just nothing good coming out it seems.

Our RBs tore it up this year and our OLs are usually very good and we've shown a commitment to utilizing the RBs in many different ways. If Limar doesn't want to be Irish, so be it.

There's only so much a staff can do to convince a kid, if they can't see why ND will be the best option for them. We have a loaded class and kids are falling victim to their fears.

Right. This isn't an issue with a staff not doing work. They're doing it.

Not losing sleep on it. Nowhere near important enough to me to get bent about.

EJ is now saying Michigan back in it for Love lol
EJ's next credible statement will be his first. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see Michigan linked to several recruits down the stretch. Back to back playoff seasons and Harbaugh finally giving strong answers that he'll be staying in college for the foreseeable future

Did Michigan figure out their NIL game? Has there been any buzz on that front?

Unrelated to Love — In general, that was the biggest thing holding them back this year and I’d watch out for them in future classes if they’re straight on that.

If ND doesn’t get their NIL shit together in the next 12-24 months, Marcus should leave. Works too hard to be hamstrung like this against all the other blue bloods.
Bold statement considering our “legendary” head coach left for LSU and then ND not even being good enough for a first time head coach.

If they lose all 3, get rid of McCollough. Don’t need another Del Alexander.
ND is counterculture to where NCAA football is and going. Jesus Himself probably couldn’t do much better recruiting at ND. We have a Touchdown Jesus, we need a recruiting Je$us.

I don't want to be too reactionary but if literally every other P5 school is playing ball with NIL except ND, it will be really hard to keep/get good coaches.

Who wants to bust their ass all year recruiting and coaching, in a high profile, demanding environment, only to have your best recruits (and potentially current players) get poached every winter.
