Definitely pulling for Argentina now so Messi can retire with a Copa Mundial and take his place beside Maradona as the greatest Argentinian to ever play the game.Love the country of Argentina and love Messi! I don't know how you can watch Neymar take dives all day or listen to Ronaldo cry in the tabloids and not pull for Messi the GOAT!
Lol, I think Berhalter is a very average coach. I want better for this group of players heading into 2026Morocco beating Portugal twisted into a Berhalter Out post is not what I expected on the bingo card.
Messi is probably the greatest ever, not counting just Argentine, he passed Maradona long ago. People get too wrapped up in the WC as if it defines a player. When Argentina won the WC with Maradona they were the best team in the world, with elite players around Maradona, who had won the WC previously.Definitely pulling for Argentina now so Messi can retire with a Copa Mundial and take his place beside Maradona as the greatest Argentinian to ever play the game.
I think he only gets fired if there is a bad run of games, which I do not want, or a scandal.Lol, I think Berhalter is a very average coach. I want better for this group of players heading into 2026
No doubt. When you account for the different eras they played in, you can make the case that Messi > Pele for GOAT. But there’s a loud demographic in Argentina that will always hold Maradona in higher esteem until he brings home a cup. And for his own sake, I hope Messi doesn’t have to retire that way.Messi is probably the greatest ever, not counting just Argentine, he passed Maradona long ago. Messi lead Argentina to the WC finals basically by himself, with no Ageur, no DiMaria, no Tevez, and lost in Extra Time to the best team in the world at the time, Germany.
And Messi’s club career is in a different universe than Maradona. Those aren’t even close.
Definately seems like Messi is greater but Maradona is more beloved. No doubt. When you account for the different eras they played in, you can make the case that Messi > Pele for GOAT. Given two penalty kicks vs zero and they're "killed" by the refs?Really seems like England got killed by the refs in this one. Unforced error by France to commit that second penalty in the box.

Just a bad idea. I’m assuming he’s trying to pat himself on the back by telling the story but all he’s doing is losing trust by putting this out there. Why air that
That's where I am at. Violates the trust of the team that thought it had been handled in privacy. Now he has broken their trust and invited wild speculation. He needs to go.Why air that
He's young and probably has a bit of prima Donna in him. But all the great ones do right? Those of you who follow the USMNT, what’s your thoughts on Reyna? I’ve not seen a lot of him but from what I have, this isn’t shocking. Seems talented, always hurt, and kind of aloof. I’m probably off on my assessment though. Curious what others think of him.
True. The prima donna stuff is less concerning than the alleged laziness. Not many great ones were lazy. He's young and probably has a bit of prima Donna in him. But all the great ones do right?
No. Not all. And is he even great? He's young and probably has a bit of prima Donna in him. But all the great ones do right?
