Deion basically came in and told the kids already committed there that they suck and should enter the transfer portal. He then goes on to say yeah my sons gonna be our QB oh but he is gonna have to earn it.

Dion is going to be a menece for a few years on the recuiting trail.
Not so sure that's the case. They'll go 3-9 this year and also Colorado doesn't have the cash to take advantage of NIL. Shoot they wrote him an IOU.

I think Deion will be a problem in regard to recruiting at least temporarily.

This is a bummer.

Edwards will have to make a complete 180 decision, to pick Colorado.

Rees for some reason seems to like Kansas. Deion gonna come for his territory. Also good luck to Rhule finding a single prospect in the Plains now.

Good news is Freeman and DMC are seeing him today already as of this AM.

This is not a dumb move by either. Colorado wants an instant turn around and exposure and now they have it. Great timing as the PAC 12 will be down soon with USC and UCLA gone. With Deion they can recruit the west and still be strong in the plains, too.

For Deion is a legit P5 program with a beautiful facilities and great campus. A program that previously won a Natty. Great turnaround story.

Regardless of what happens to Edwards, please don't think Deion and Colorado won't work out. Colorado has a collective. Deion is way smarter than people have ever given him credit for. He also negotiated a good staffing budget too.

That Colorado AD is a smart guy too.

Nick Saban is just thankful Auburn didn't hire Deion but went with Freeze.

Not gonna be a hard sell either, look at our RB room. Guaranteed that’ll be a big selling point.

Wait, Dylan Edwards could be on national TV at ND, with an incredible alumni network and a team ascending with a great head coach and staff or he could go to Colorado with neon Deion?

This is what we are worried about? I mean, kids can make all kinds of odd decisions but this can't be a real fear, right?

And he's not a traditional RB, he's an offensive weapon for us; schemed around, slot WR/APB. We have no one like him on the roster.

How many other coaches have their picture as the offer announcement? This is going to be crazy to watch.

I hope it’s not a concern, I hope it’s the school that Dylan is committed to. I guess we will see if he entertains it or shuts down.

Um...I don't suppose you have been to Boulder.... Deion has his own incredible charisma and has a background as a HOF player and successful HC at JSU to back it up.

And while I like Freeman, its unfortunately way too early to state he is a "Great Head Coach" and that the team is "Ascending". We just lost 4 games after being Pre-Season Top 5. That is not ascending that's descending. Hopefully next year corrects this.

None of this equates to any amount of success at the program he's at now. Buying the number 1 recruit to go beat up on some borderline highschool kids doesn't mean you're able to run a program at a power 5 level.

This end of recruiting cycle will be scary against Deion but it will taper off after his first year. But if he gets that team to a bowl game watch out
