Coach Prime left Jackson State in considerably better condition than when he found it. The football program, school and the community benefitted from his time there has head football coach. Much of that is being lost in the hoopla around him being there and now leaving for Colorado.

I have no idea what Deon will do there but he sounds like he’s not F’ing around. Basically told them they suck and will be replaced. That program needs a culture change and they’re going to get one. Would like to see them good again.

Which means Jeff Brohm will move on from Purdue. He was openly lobbying for the Louisville job a year ago.

Louisville was up-and-down this year.

Turned in some brilliant performances, and ended up being better overall than many thought they would... but also turned in some true clunkers.

I was way high on Satterfield before Louisville, though. It was easy to be a fan of what he built at App State in their transition to FBS ball. I think he was actually on the short list for UC last time, when they hired Fickell.

Hopefully he can tap back into some of that App state magic in Cincy?

Idk, I'm kind of underwhelmed. I was hoping for a "splash" with the impending move to the Big XII, where they will share space with Tejas and Oklahoma for two seasons before those programs make the move to the SEC. Instead they played it safe with a guy that knows how to navigate a Power 5 conference, at least.
