It can be really good if it’s done correctly……but it has to be very thin with plenty of pepper and spice. I’ve had it when it’s too thick (too much mayo) and it is nasty.

Potbelly is amazing.

I agree potbelly's is so far above everyone else on this list that second place doesn't matter. Their hot peppers on any of their sandwiches, with a bowl of their chili and a double chocolate chip cookie... Best meal ever.
Moved to the Toledo area (worst city ever) a year ago and they don't have potbelly's here, constantly crave it

I went to high school in Connecticut and there is a place called Olympic pizza and they fire roasted the subs and the bread would come out very crispy! My only good memory of high school was the subs!
