This is also classic insider behavior. It's a total hedge. When nobody shows up they can just say something went wrong and never have to name who they were talking about...if it was anyone at all.

Sorry to be a downer, I am just excited to hear we have a chance with someone. But I am "meh" on Kenny. No way he's 6'2. Arm strength isn't there. He does distribute the ball well, but I don't love his film.

That said, would love to see Narduzzi's reaction.

No doubt he's not a finished product, but it'll be up to the next OC/QB coach to develop him.

Didn't they say it would be surprising? Is Minchey considered surprising? He seems like the most obvious one.

I have always liked Minchey more than Novosad or Avery Johnson so would be more than happy with that development.

Honestly at what point do you use film like that as your main pitch... "Look at the play calling and talent out there... all it's missing is a QB like YOU"

I'm in the same boat, though (unsurprisingly) I would be quite happy for ND to land any of those three.

I have to imagine that's the been the pitch all year. "We have a Ferrari but our driver needs a booster seat to see over the dash and can't pull out of the garage."

The thing that could be in the works that it being “leaked” won’t hurt….if he’s about it decommit anyways. Which would explain the level of confidence being conveyed. If it’s gonna be a OV
