I am confused on the drugs on Halloween mockery, or lack there of. I must have missed my email from the GOP think tank on this… was there supposed to be some massive drug giveaway? Also, isn’t there some drug hysteria of epically small proportion every year anyway? I guess my ear hasn’t been to the ground like many of you. Was Biden hand delivering these drugs?

Can someone clarify if Biden is braindead and wrong or a total sack of shit and lying for votes?

He gets away with it, because he's not outwardly arrogant like orange man and he does act a little more presidential than Donnie. But, to your question, can't both be true?

So drugs in halloween candy is an urban myth right? Like who is giving away free drugs? I never understood this.
Growing up on the NW side of Chicago in the 80s, it was a thing. Or razor blades in the candy. Mind you, I grew up in a neighborhood chalk full of Catholics that were mostly male police officers and firemen. There hasn't been a murder there in 70 years.

Ronna McDaniel has been spewing it for months. And of course, Chuck Schumer even repeated some of the caution to a degree.

Contaminated Halloween candy isn't really anything new. The volume and hysteria get dialed up a bit depending on the year, and considering this is 2022....yeaaaaaaaaah.

It's a "thing", but not a "thing" on the magnitude many think it is. The number of reported drugs and/or razor blades in candy is usually 1 or 2 in Indy.

Thing as in the myth/urban legend about it, yes.

We handed out CRT pamphlets this year for Halloween. Massive hit.

Media sensationalizes just about everything……the threat of contaminated candy is nothing new, it’s always been a possibility idiots might try to hurt kids. Colorful fentanyl is just another avenue they could possibly use.

No joke, my neighborhood had Jello shots, Fireball, and alcohol infused chocolate cherries for the adults. No Fentanyl for us or the kids though, disappointing.

When it came to razor blades and drugs I thought that was understood to be an excuse for parents to check the candy and take some for themselves?

I think this whole "drugs in the candy" thing started when someone unknowingly put Dad's gummy edibles in the candy dish and some kids got the munchies.

apparently someone local accidentally eat a tide pod. I’ve always said this city is 10 years behind… we are finally getting to the tide pod era.

Found the post lol. They also had gifts for the moms, gift bags with little Yankee Candles and some goodies.

The drugs in candy thing started when a father poisoned and killed his own child with a pixie stick full of cyanide for an insurance claim back in 74. He gave the same sticks to other kids hoping it would cover his tracks and look like a larger thing but luckily no other children took theirs before news of the death got out,… it’s become an urban myth that resurfaces every few years on Halloween ever since. However, we should not be joking about fentanyl and children,… it’s not as if nothing bad is happening, and I believe there was a case just a couple weeks ago of a kid dying from taking fentanyl that looked like candy.

I have a business partner whose son dies about a year ago. Judging by his last text messages he asked a friend if had anything for headache and then his next text was asking his friend what the hell he gave him. But by then it was too late.

Nothing like getting the parents liquored up while taking their kids trick or treating. I need to take my grandkids there next year. Lol

I love living in Texas,…. I took my daughter around with beers in either hand and so did just about everyone else. No drama. If I had tried that in Cali I’d have had 5.0 roll on me quick,… and I can confirm that as I tried it once and yeah,… maybe five minutes in.

It’s the same way here in ‘Bama……and when Halloween is on a Friday or Saturday, it’s like a huge block party with many of the neighborhood houses setting up grills, coolers with alcoholic drinks as well as other “treats” for the adults and kids alike.

Is El Paso really Texas? Just seems like a bigger and just as poor Las Cruces, NM.

Best economic recovery ever, Jack!

September 9, 2021: Joe Biden announced the vaccine mandates for employment
September 10, 2021: I moved my entire investment portfolio into linkers (inflation-linked bonds). Every last bit of it.

It was the best investment decision I've made to date. I didn't even need Pelosi to send me an insider tip.
