Breaking news: Despite popular belief, non binary people can commit crimes too. Be sure to catch "what is a secondary colour?" following this programming.

Lmao.

I wonder how many people of the 93,000 with a Q clearance commit crimes. I would imagine that number to be quite low.

Off topic… but

Binary - relating to, composed of, or involving two things.

So if you are non-binary rather than binary aren’t you putting yourself in a binary system?

Technically it would three options so it wouldn't be a binary system.
Completely ignoring my point via a hyperbolic off-topic response. At least you are consistent lol
Yeah your original point was very strong and needed a very serious response. My goodness, it's not that serious bud lol

His sexual preference really doesn't have a thing to do with stealing luggage. However, when Uncle Joe likes to promote his wake-ness for hiring people (is it okay to call them people?) who associates with one of the LGBT groups, he opens himself up to this.

He identifies as they/them so “people” might be correct. So if he got fired I would read the fine print of that termination letter. If it refers to him in the singular then they might need fire the rest of them before the rest of they still think they have a job.

Would you posted this if this person wasn't part of the LGBTQ? In opening himself to this what does that mean? Doesn't seem like many here are upset about the actual stolen luggage but more about the gender of the person.

Persons. They/them is plural.

I think he made that clear. When you go woke, and hire someone based on some thing besides their actual qualifications you open yourself up for criticism. The whole basis of the criticism is that Joe hired this person based on their LGBTQACBD123 status. So it’s hard to judge a person on their merit when they never got hired on it to begin with. And when they do something wrong, it’s very easy to criticize.

If I hired my brother to do a job someone else was more qualified to do and he did something wrong, I would get flack and a lot of “that’s what happens when you hire family”.

The root of the issue is Joe hired someone because of their woke status. When they do something wrong, naturally it gets pointed out.

We aren’t really upset about the luggage or the gender… we are upset about Joes hiring practices.

You've never used "they" to describe a singular person before? They're is "they are" so - "Jimmy is going to Safeway, I think they're going to pick something up". I think that's pretty harmless? Is that tough to do? Idk I don't typically have trouble with these types of things so maybe I'm overlooking something.

I can't judge a nuclear scientists resume on whether they're qualified or not. I guess you have a handy list of people you would have put in that spot? Based on a Wikipedia search it looks like they do have experience in that area. Whether or not it's good enough is not something I can say, of course if you're going to make the claim they aren't qualified you surely should be able to say why they aren't besides of course that they're non binary.

It falls on deaf ears when the apologist squad gets a red rocket about this when they were ok with previous nepotism.

You are implying someone is with Jimmy. They is used in the plural sense.

It’s like when you come and say you are wanting to hire a black woman for SCOTUS. You could easily say you are going to hire the most qualified person but we know and Joe knows he didn’t do that. So when Joe makes it a point to say he’s going to have the most diverse administration and not the most deserving he sets up the stage to be criticized. The person could be qualified. But we all know that’s not why the person was selected. Hiring people based on status and not merit.

Much has been written on they, and we aren’t going to attempt to cover it here. We will note that they has been in consistent use as a singular pronoun since the late 1300s; that the development of singular they mirrors the development of the singular you from the plural you, yet we don’t complain that singular you is ungrammatical; and that regardless of what detractors say, nearly everyone uses the singular they in casual conversation and often in formal writing.

So you're upset at his very general saying of "diverse administration", and that gives carte blanche to say every hire that isn't a white guy is unqualified and you don't have to provide proof as to why you think they're unqualified.

It would have just been easier to say "not a good look for a Biden appointee to get caught with this" but the squad got a red rocket to say they're also unqualified lol. My goodness.

Yes I would. It was a shot at Joe. Did you see where I said anything about sexual orientation? No, all I said was oops. In another post I even said his sexual preference has nothing to do with this. You know exactly what I mean by opening himself up, but if you're not playing coy, let me spell it out for you. Joe has touted how woke he is by announcing he has hired multiple LGBT people to work under him rather than just hiring them and going about the business of running the government. When he does that, people are going to criticize him for those picks when they do something stupid like steal someone's luggage.

I laughed when I heard he was hiring his family. Everyone knew Trump's family wasn't qualified to be in government positions.

In regard to the SCOTUS pick. I think Joe did a disservice to black people by saying he was going to pick a black woman as opposed to saying he’s going to pick the most qualified then picking a black woman. There is a huge difference. I have many black friends that would say the same. It’s pandering and making someone a token that represents the whole so they all feel like a token. So I’m not “upset” he said that, I’m more upset other people aren’t as upset he couldn’t just make it appear he picked the most qualified.

I don’t think anyone is saying this person or persons is/are unqualified. I think Joe pretty much made people assume that by saying what he said, so if people think that it’s Joes fault. That gives me carte blanche to laugh at it and point it out. Also gives you the right to get upset someone pointed it out I guess… 🤷‍♂️

I think you would be surprised how many definition changes we have had the past few years to fit and make the woke argument. Or maybe you wouldn’t…

Before Toronto jumps on to defend him, I'd just like to say that I've never met an SES that openly participates in kink. So no, it's not normal.

Why would you think I would defend puppy training kink? Explain that.
