Solid point. However, just to play devils advocate, it appears Wake has had recruiting classes that are better than #75. Obviously that is hard to compare since that is their composite ranking, but it seems if generalizing that they are underperforming in their rushing offense.

This is a bit of a cop out but Hartman, Van Dyke and Armstrong I need to know the OC. Armstrong’s skill is maximized by some of the shoot, option type stuff. I wouldn’t stick him in just any offense and say he’s a top choice. Van Dyke is a statue kind of like Coan. Clearly he shouldn’t be asked to do certain things. Hartman I’d be weary of outside his current system, maybe he adapts to the NFL in time but a one year rental to learn a new offense, meh, I think you’re naturally getting a lesser version of what we’ve seen. Leary I think you could plug and play with any OC a bit more.

I'm pretty skeptical that any of TVD, Hartman, or Leary would enter the portal.

I think Armstrong is unlikely as well but there's at least a reasonable path for it (having a down year, just had a coaching change).

I feel decent gut wise Van Dyke will transfer or be in the NFL. I don’t think he returns to Miami.

2020 was a COVID year and didn't count for anyone. Hartman is a Redshirt Junior and has one more year left after this year.

If it was head to head and TVD was healthy I don’t think he’d lose the job they just have this kid Garcia they also like and he’s basically gonna get the run to end the year. He could be bad but he is not just a random backup at least
