Alright 23 point win, I took UNLV at +26 so decent day for me.

Not sure what is worse? Announcers, Pyne, Rees or Freeman? Honorable mention for Styles continuing to stink sadly. D did not play a full game. 21 points to UNLV backups is pathetic. Freeman is a younger version of Kelly without the HC skills. Worst OC I can remember. We truly have the horses except for the most important with our QB and Tommy just sucks. Anyone could have called plays for us today and we score at least 44 but likely more. Never been this dejected after a 20 point win. Score said one thing and my eyes said another. They are not passing the eye test. Oline seems to protect well and special teams well above average. Foskey had moments and Meyer is Meyer or Mayer but the rest of the team is poorly coached and plays inconsistent football. Btw shut up Kyren. They sucked.

Anyhow, Freeman’s tenure so far is starting to feel like a Clay Helton type situation to me. Some parallels in terms of a well liked coordinator being elevated to head coach who then proceeds to completely underwhelm.

Pyne 14-28 with 3 or 4 of those completions jet sweeps. Pyne has to have zero confidence no mater how cocky and delusional he is. This offense is doomed with him and so is Tommy. So at least one positive will come of this offenses shit show this season. Tommy gets canned!!!!

Stuckey has plenty to work with but his guys need a chance. Styles needs a Tommy style chewing out. He okays like a Fn loser and his body language shows it. Tobias needs to get his head out of his ass or he will be hanging out with Estime. Diggs played well but we could still use a non fumbling Estime. I feel bad for him.

Styles doesn’t seem to want to be at ND anymore. Freeman is an absolute embarrassment. Rees is collecting a paycheck from a boss that has no say in his job nor puts any pressure on him. Rees likely stayed at ND bc he knew freeman was just a figure head.

As much as I want to place full blame on Rees. I think the confidence is gone on pyne. He's just not very good, there is no way to cut it. If they had a better qb that made better reads, the offense would ve so much better. But also Rees has to recognize that he needs to change things to suit pynes skillset

Because he’s responsible for the WR unit and when they are targeted for plays, they make mistakes. Styles has been terrible. We already know Pyne is awful and this “run and tight end offense” is not cutting it, but the WRs still have to make obvious plays when it does swing their direction.

I understand what you’re saying. But the problem is much larger than simple execution by the wide receivers. The larger issue is that the wide receivers are not really a factor in the offense at all! This was the game where Ries was supposed to do things differently and he didn’t. Tobias Meriwether should have 5 to 10 targets a game. Very little down fuel throwing. The office is so awful it’s like Ries is trying to lose!
