I don't think the talent on defense is all that great. I've been impressed with Golden. If he is here for a few more years, I expect our defense to improve greatly once he has faster and more talented players to work with.

He probably has all the authority he needs, I’m just not certain he’s capable in making better decisions. If he was a seasoned HC I think you see his confidence, hence the deer in the headlights look when the game has been derailed.
