This is as close as you'll get to him saying he's 100% committed. At the very least, it's a good sign to hear him say this this late in the cycle.

the kid is just having the same fun we would if we were in his shoes. these elite 4 and 5 star kids aren't going to get the red carpet treatment more than they are right now and so why not take advantage of it

I have no issues with him taking visits anywhere, so long as the staff is fully aware of each and every one and the purpose behind it. I would do the same thing, except I would make it very well known publically and privately that I am unwavering in my commitment to Notre Dame. That includes to the coaches of the schools and visiting.

Yeah yeah, but with Oklahoma, anyway, Bowen's GF and high school buddies are going there. Maybe it's them he's scared to let down.

I have no idea but as much as he’s enjoying the recruitment process, I wouldn’t be surprise if he keeps it going to the end…especially if there’s fewer high profile recruits left and he can get more spotlight. Good for him for enjoying the ride. May as well use the schools for all they got.

That's a big ticket game for almost everybody in the states of Texas and Oklahoma and it's during the State Fair of Texas.

And again, the fact that Bowen is going to the games where OU looks like crap and particularly their defense looks like crap, doesn't bode well for their chances. ND got off to a bad start, but is finding their footing and trending up. OU is trending down in a big way.

I'm sure his interest in OU is legitimate, but they're doing themselves zero favors with these performances.

At first I found it hard to believe he'd commit on ESD with his hesitation to shut down his recruitment, now I'm starting to think he'll be a ND lock by then. It's hard to believe he'd even seriously consider Okl after watching that beat down yesterday. The value of having his gf at the same school has to be completely lost knowing that he'd be playing for a joke of a defense. Thanks again Oklahoma!!
