He feels ND are the clear front runners and he's very close to putting in a CB. A+M shouldn't be dismissed and still have a real shot, but it seems like he's been telling everyone around him ND is his favorite.

Latest on Love and Bowen, basically, Love was trending towards A&M but looks to be trending back to the Irish with an unofficial visit set up for Oct 15th. Bowen is for the birds with 3 programs all saying they're confident they'll land him. He gave no timeline on if/when he'll shut his recruitment down and it's anyone's guess where he'll end up.
Sounds similar to the II and ISD updates we got days ago

One of the things we concretely know is Bowen gets spooked by coaching changes. It basically is what spurred his commitment to ND. I don’t think bad performance will play any part in his decision, but some heat on Jimbo could be beneficial, even if it’s just chatter. Jimbo probably gets 2023 no matter what.

To be fair, now it's only 2 months til early signing day and Keeley gave a very different vibe, ghosting other commits and what not. I somehow doubt Bowen will put it in ink in December but he did say this recently, very different from Keeley's actions, "Even on social media, I say I’m still locked in and fully committed,” Bowen noted. “They’re (Notre Dame) not freaking out or anything; they just tell me to remember why I committed here.”

It's also been confirmed that J. Love is coming back to ND for the Stanford game, a huge positive imo. If he wasn't leaning towards ND, he wouldn't pick us to visit one more time (hopefully). If all goes well, that visit could seal the deal.
