"I feel like many of us have gone through that particular time where someone is top of mind and you call them out."
No, I don't think I've ever asked and searched for someone that I just eulogized recently.
Reagan was said to have memory lapses while in office, but he was cleared and he wasn't given his diagnosis until several years when he was out of office at the age of 83. There was some speculation the horse accident in '89 could have further hurt his memory issues. Biden turns 80 in a little over a month and it feels like he's progressed beyond just some basic memory lapses. It feels like the episodes are getting more frequent too. Yesterday it was looking for a dead person, a week ago it was the 60 Minutes interview where his staff had to correct him on his own policy, and Jean-Pierre had to say Biden was excited to be at the car show as an excuse for the gaffe. I don't know if the press can continue to cover for him for another 6 years if he ends up running for re-election. He'd be 86 when he gets out of office, I just don't see that ending well.
