i'd expect USC to have the exact same dynamic, there's no way you can take in so many transfers and not expect at least half of them to be broken dipshits who will submarine your team culture and chemistry

Yep. Their issues was well documented and Sark knew what he was getting when he took them. Both are great talents and maybe Sark felt he could get them in line. Apparently that’s not the case right now.

When they said he was 24 years old, I had to investigate his journey. Started at Buffalo before moving on to Iowa. I guess he and the Purdue QB are childhood friends.

This is true, but USC is another high level academic institution. I think it'd be certainly possible to get him in.

Also I think he was a one time stanford commit? IIRC, or at least a top target of theirs. He had the grades out of high school.

The portal is going remain all-time crazy for the next 2/3 years, as it relates to roster management. The 85 limit and no extra COVID adjustments from are going to continue an insane situation.

Just some examples on NDs roster ;

Drew Pyne entered the year with 4 years of eligibility (more than Buchner even)- could graduate with 3 left.

JD Bertrand had played in 28 games entering the season, is a sophomore eligibility wise.

This could be Marist Liufau’s 1st season counted with a injury waiver. ‘19 redshirt ‘20 doesn’t exist ‘21 injury. Was his 4th fall camp.

Zeke Corell - 2 more left after this year
- goes on and on

Assuming this situation is everywhere - where’s the room for all the players if they want to continue to play (and are better than incoming freshman would be at a MAC school)

Might be a few more BYU like rosters .
