Entitled, snobbish, lazy, boorish
I don't think you know the definition of boorish.
Entitled, snobbish, lazy, boorish
ND has enough of a mix of country club and Walmart types that those characterizations don’t really fit that well.Entitled, snobbish, lazy, boorish
With Lenzy it's always ifs and whens. Styles goes out and catches passes regardless. Lenzy ain't it. He's just taking reps away from younger talent at this point. He did not have a good day overall. But there were a number of plays where he was WIDE open where Buchner flat out missed the throw:
1) In the first quarter, he had his man beat on a deep post by 1-2 steps. If Buchner hits him in stride, it's at minimum a big chunk play, if not a touchdown. Buchner's pass was late and underthrown, Lenzy had to come back to the ball, it was broken up.
2) The shot play at the end of the first half. For whatever reason (busted coverage?) Lenzy was WIDE OPEN for the easiest TD of his career. Buchner missed the throw.
3) On a third play in the second half, Lenzy ran a go route. He beat his man right off the snap and was wide open by 5 yards. Buchner thought it was an out and threw the ball to no one.
What is this younger talent you speak of?With Lenzy it's always ifs and whens. Styles goes out and catches passes regardless. Lenzy ain't it. He's just taking reps away from younger talent at this point.
Literally the only person you could be talking about is Tobias Merriweather. Our receiver room doesn’t have talent. Thus Lenzy has to play. With Lenzy it's always ifs and whens. Styles goes out and catches passes regardless. Lenzy ain't it. He's just taking reps away from younger talent at this point.
This is nothing new. The crowd at ND stadium has sucked for years.
Yeah i get that. Overall, it’s just never been an intimidating place for opponents. The best time I’ve had was when sitting next to fans like me which was 1997 GT, 2011 BC & 2014 UNC. I was at USC ‘99 and it was all longtime SC fans who made the trip every other year. 2012 was fun on Senior Day but the old crusty fans were visible so it was reserved.ND has enough of a mix of country club and Walmart types that those characterizations don’t really fit that well.
I was there today. It got decently loud a couple times. But nothing takes the wind out of your sails like multiple turnover-on-downs, poor execution, and your best offensive plays being Jon Sot’s punts.
It’ll NEVER be a rowdy crowd. I will say ND fans never abuse visitors the way OSU & SEC schools (not all) do.It’s more of a church crowd than a rowdy SEC crowd.
So- now we just hope for a bowl game in Florida or the Bahamas?
That's the question, we haven't seen them, or him I guess lol. I don't think I can take another Lenzy ball to the helmet though, let the few younger guys we have get reps is all I'm saying. What is this younger talent you speak of?
The helmet ball was early and I think it was precisely at that moment when I knew we were screwed. That's the question, we haven't seen them, or him I guess lol. I don't think I can take another Lenzy ball to the helmet though, let the few younger guys we have get reps is all I'm saying.
That’s good to know & it does show up on TV in those elite moments. I still hear about ‘05 SC atmosphere. The six games I’ve been to were not comparable to Stanford. Even when it was vs SC…both teams sucked (Paul Hackett vs Bob Davie!).At it’s peak moments, holy shit... there are few places like ND stadium. Case in point was the Stanford-stop game. The roar was beyond deafening with moments you could hear a pin drop. That was all self-generated. I like aspects of the Jumbotron, but they need to stop with all the promotional stuff and they’ve really neutered the band. Oh, and ND has to play with balls.
Maybe MFMF, Foskey, and Mayer can make a video about it or something. This was the concern about a “players’ coach”. How will Freeman assert his dominance now? He has to find leaders to rise up and fast.
Idk what people want. The atmosphere sucked bc we were playing like absolute shit. I saw a guy puke all over himself in the concourse and that wasn’t nearly as bad as the vomit I saw spewed all over the field today.True, but even the student section seemed soft. I mean, we were losing to Marshall.
That sounds more exciting than the game. Was it chunky or liquidity?Idk what people want. The atmosphere sucked bc we were playing like absolutely shit. I saw a guy puke all over himself in the concourse and that wasn’t nearly as bad as the vomit I saw spewed all over the field today.
Amateur move unless he swallowed green food dye beforehand.Idk what people want. The atmosphere sucked bc we were playing like absolutely shit. I saw a guy puke all over himself in the concourse and that wasn’t nearly as bad as the vomit I saw spewed all over the field today.
Everyone was in shock + it was hot as shit in the sun + lot of families.Idk what people want. The atmosphere sucked bc we were playing like absolutely shit. I saw a guy puke all over himself in the concourse and that wasn’t nearly as bad as the vomit I saw spewed all over the field today.
The sound transitions and music are borderline cringeworthy. the 3rd down “pump up” sound was embarrassing.
Also the whole cashless stadium bullshit sucks. I think I waited 20+ minutes just for bottled water today.Everyone was in shock + it was hot as shit in the sun + lot of families.
Right. Winning cures all. Be careful what you wish for as far as “rowdy atmospheres”. I remember almost getting in a fight at UNC of all places after ND choked to the Heels in 2008. ND brings the worst out in opposing fans on the road. No, I agree. The externals shouldn’t matter overall. The crowd will be into it when ND plays like they want to win. I was just adding descriptives regarding the atmosphere.
Scott Frost to ND confirmedGo to a Nebraska board right now, and see how they are handling abject failure.
It’s literally the meme with Pam from The Office that says “corporate wants you to find the difference between these two pictures”

I don’t know if they win a game prior to UNLV
When i said last week we weren't very good and neither is OSU, i got nothing but flack. I still wish i was wrong. Now my question is when will ND get it's first win?All ask this again. What does this say about OSU? Is OSU even any good?
This time next year they’ll be the talk of CFB when Urban Meyer takes the helm…probablyGo to a Nebraska board right now, and see how they are handling abject failure.
