I have a feeling that with the WC condensing the league and CL games so much that we are going to see some crazy stuff just due to roster management.

Rodgers and Tuchel are walking on thin ice right now.

I can't watch English Premier League anymore. The officiating is hot garbage.

Serie A is going to be interesting. I think it will be the only legitimate title race come spring when all is said and done.

Rangers fans busting nuts all over social media over Celtic losing to a club with more than ten times it’s wage bill 3-0 after playing blow for blow with them for an hour as if their team weren’t down by the same score at half just a few days ago to the same Celtic team they’re also currently outspending is peak Hun/Zombie.

Crazy they pulled the plug on him so quickly after the Champions League champ, but it was needed. Chelsea became painful to watch under his management.

Not just him, they spent something like quarter of a billion dollars this past window. Oh well, can only be good news for Pulisic.
Yeah....very true! I mean I guess I was just saying that Yangs first game was this 1-0 loss in a CL game and then the boss gets sacked. I hope Pulisic gets some PT before the WC.

Napoli is humiliating Liverpool right now. Chelsea sack another manager. Who is left, Arsenal and Spurs?

Man City is going to dogwalk their way to a title.

Gomez is trash! Milner is done. I love Milner but he isnt servicable anymore.
Why is Milner starting a Champions League game in 2022?

This is one of the most valuable clubs in the world and they haven't purchased a midfielder since Thiago two years ago. Whoever is making these choices is failing miserably. You don't have to throw money around like United and Chelsea have but invest in the manager that just got you to 63 matches out of 63 possible matches that got you two trophies and had you on the brink of four. What are these owners doing?

It looks like, from what I have seen outside of that Bouremouth match, the senior players don't look inspired because they know they're outgunned maybe? They played inspired against City for the Community Shield and have shown nothing since. I read yesterday that Oxlaide Chamberlain and Keita aren't even on their Champions League roster?

Can't recall a drop off like this one. Fighting until the last possible minute for four trophies to whatever this is.

Keita was named to the Guinea squad for international break. This would seem to indicate he is fit to play.

Doesn't seem like a good situation on the club side of things. Has LFC exiled him?
Keita is listed as having a serious muscle injury and isn’t set to return for a while per Liverpool. IDK but it’s in their interest to sign him to a contract and then sell him rather than leave for a free but at this point letting him go and taking the loss is the likeliest. I don’t care. Fucking get rid of him.

They played a ton of games last year, seems like they’re burned out. They almost missed out on top 4 the year after they won the league. It’s tough to stay at that high level every year.

That seems to be a pattern with Klopp from what I have read. I dont know for sure and I have zero evidence to back this up but I have seen people claiming Klopp's seventh years in charge are generally poor. Maybe just worn out because of the style of play?

Based on current performances, I almost wish we had let Salah go and kept Mane though to be honest.

Year 7 at Mainz got them relegated. Year 7 at BVB, they had 16 points entering mid February through 19 match days before they righted the ship.

The issue with them right now is their midfield. Mane isn't fixing it, and neither does Jude Bellingham. It isn't the high line and it isn't Mane being gone. The midfield press and possession is terrible. Yet yesterday was their fourth loss this calendar year but third in the last three months.

They peaked with Wijnaldum, Henderson and Fabinho. They never truly replaced Wijnaldum, who cleaned everything up and didn't show up on stat sheets. Henderson does a tremendous amount of work defensively between Salah and the right back. Fabinho hasn't looked right for six months and is currently attempting to do the work of three people while still not being totally right.

They have three midfielders whose contracts end in June. Everyone they have is injury prone. The Elliott kid is a hustler but he's not a midfielder. Meanwhile, their top rivals are spending money as fast as they can bolstering their sides.

You don't have to be like Chelsea, but you don't have to be like Southampton either. They haven't invested in their midfield.
