Does Sadio Mane get a statue after he leaves and the greatest team in the history of club football immediately crumbles?
Are you kidding me! Hes got the 10 time running Bundesliga champs sitting in 3rd place right now! Absolute rubbish innit?

We've been put through two years of the English media rubbing one out for Liverpool. Calling them one of the finest teams English football has ever seen, etc. and as soon as they lose one of their key players, they look a shell of themselves.

Yes. Imo a massively important loss for the team. I think Salah benefits from the midfield doing their job but also the terror and havoc that Mane created

It’s not just Mane. Our midfield is unable to do their jobs and when they don’t the whole team is exposed. It’s not working.

I mean, they were pretty damn good last year, but if you're watching right now it goes far beyond Mane moving to Munich. You win two domestic trophies, finish one point off the title winners in the league and go to a Champions League final I think there is going to be some press given to you that is positive. City chased a quad not that long ago and I didn't think anyone would get that close again for a while.

The year before that LFC squad finished fourth on a miracle goal by their goalkeeper, so whoever was calling them one of the finest teams England has ever seen then was likely an idiot. I would say that starting with 2017-18 they've been one of the better ones in Europe to watch if you're a neutral and they were just about the only thing standing in City's way in terms of a viable challenge. Those two clubs for the last 5 years or so have been two of the best in Europe to watch. Bar none.

I was looking at the LFC injury list so far this year. I don't know how they had so many guys not available in August. Incredibly odd.

Still pretty appalled that FIFA is allowing the World Cup to happen in Qatar, after the buying of votes, working conditions/deaths in making the stadiums, the delays in making the stadiums, and all the religious bans and shit.

FIFA needs to be disbanded. Going from Russia to Qatar in back to back World Cups is a joke. Not that i was a fan of the Super League proposal, but they threatened to bar any players who played for potential teams from representing their Countries in National Team play. Why give such corrupt organization any power. European and North American National programs should just withdrawal and start their own governing body, rest of the world would follow suite.

When you add to it the remarks about how our nation is problematic and such as they did when choosing those sites,… makes me want to pass on the whole thing

From the ESPN story, it sounds like Barca has no leverage here. He has to play over 45 minutes in half of the games in two years. If he plays less than 45, it doesn't count. Which is why he has come on at the 60th minute every game.

Atletico and Barca can't afford him right now. They need to renegotiate and figure it out.

What the actual fuck are we talking about here? Come someone post a link or something?

That covers a good chunk of it.

Mbappe is still at odds the the French Football Federation about image rights. Apparently an agreement has been made.

DeChamps and the head of the FFF are buddies. The head of the FFF seems like a shitty person sending innapropriate texts to female FFF workers.

Pogba's brother and childhood friends just got arrested in an extortion attempt involving Pogba, who is under police supervision.
