Bournemouth sacks Scott Parker.

Lost to Arsenal, City, Liverpool in their first four games and they're still not in the relegation zone.

English Premier League is getting a bit too crazy for my blood.
9-0 against Pool just made it have to happen didn't it? That was a tough three games in a row. I have to think if Bournemouth lost to Pool 4-0 he might still have some leash, but 9 makes it have to happen.

They just got promoted and spent $29M on two transfers for the guy. He doesn't see September but is ahead of Frank Lampard and Brendan Rodgers in the standings. Guess it is what it is.

Speaking of Frank, Viera and Arteta are better managers than Lampard and Gerrard. Too bad they're not English, though.

And Dundee United just sacked Jack Ross after just nine games... something about getting beat 9-0 I guess.

$50M players are being sold for $75M this window. Jude Bellingham is going to cost a fortune next year. Dortmund are going to laugh all the way to the bank.

Apparetly the PL is putting in a spending cap. We'll see if it actually happens though.

Maybe there is something to that Klopp in his seventh year.
There's something to having your midfield revolve around a 19 year old winger playing midfield.

Elliott was superb. Honestly no idea how they won that. Newcastle had major players missing. That felt like Liverpool got a Man United papering over the cracks 3 points there. Very fortunate.

Yeah GKs are only supposed to be allowed 6 seconds to kick the ball. Pope was routinely taking way more than that. Plus they spent multiple minutes of stoppage time going down. Marriner apparently kept track of all of it. Lol.

Are gonna be getting biweekly EPL games because of the WC? This schedule plus all the Cup comps and UCL schedule is crazy.

So Wolves still can’t buy a goal. I have nothing else to add
Well that and I made it from last hearing ended at 1:19 in Peru, IN to home West of South Bend in time to piss and catch kickoff at 2:30 so anyone I flew by, flicked off, or honked at on 31 North yesterday. Apologies

Liverpool:
A. No Mane. Mane was the front warrior. Salah scores, but Mane was the attack dog.
B. No Thiago in midfield. No cleverness.
C. Henderson, the most underrated great player in football these last three years, looks just a little older for the first time. Last year a commentator said that City and Liverpool were great football teams but because of two entirely different midfield philosophies: "City are Footballers; Liverpool are Hunters." Liverpool scores off The Hunt. If Henderson can't drive that pack as well, the Dogs can't hunt. And NO, Elliot wasn't fantastic --- he finally completed some passes and extended attacks in the second half. He still cannot hunt in coordination with the pack.

Maybe Henderson will find his old stride and with Fabinho and somebody else reestablish the domination of the midfield. If that doesn't happen --- long season of good not great football. You can't win regularly if you don't boss the engine room. (another commentator remark.)

Arthur to Liverpool; Zakaria to Chelsea. Juventus applying the "addition by subtraction" philosophy to close out the mercato. Unreal the transfomation of that midfield when compared to match day 1 last season...
