We game planned around our OL being able to control the LOS. That's one of the few areas we recruit better than OSU, and their front-seven was inconsistent last year. It wasn't just a good plan, it was the only game plan that gave us a decent chance at winning. With Patterson out, our IOL sucked, and OSU got pressure up the middle all night. That we couldn't reliably move the ball in 12 and 13 personnel is an indictment of our OL.
Guys like Lugg simply shouldn't be playing with the way we recruit the position. But that's not on Tommy.
