According to Wikipedia we finished 4th in ‘57 and 5th in ‘02What is the farthest ND has gone?
very few fans at the game right now just like game 1 earlier but the high 90s temps might have something to do with if i had to guess
One of my buddies didn’t get in until after the game started due to long lines. He said SRO & General Admission were sold out.The lines to get into the stadium at first pitch were insane. It’s been a problem since the stadium first opened and they just haven’t quite been able to figure it out. Filled in quite nice after about the second inning
Is it better or worse than Louisville's football stadium? That was an awful setup! The lines to get into the stadium at first pitch were insane. They play until someone is double eliminatedit's double elimination and we just won.
So we are in a four team group with Oklahoma Texas and Texas A&M. We move on to play Oklahoma on Sunday. Texas and A&M play each other as well. The team that loses between them will be eliminated. The winner of that game goes on to play the loser of our game, OU and ND. So if UT beats A&M and we beat OU then UT plays OU with A&M eliminated. So ill admit it... I dont really pay attention to anything but ND football.
I guess it was how I was raised.
But for the past few years... I've been pretty into ND baseball and I have no idea what the College World Series looks like... especially with one win from a team I love.
So... I know it's double elimination and we just won.
Someone wanna help me out here? What now?
Lol
It’s not so much the speed or movement, it’s the rotation. I think they remarked on the broadcast about Findlay’s spin rate. I saw him pop at 92 a couple times last night, but a 92 mph fastball with a high spin rate I think if I recall can make the ball appear to be rising and make it harder to barrel up.This Findley kid has been fantastic but I can't figure out how he gets people out. He only has one pitch, a 89-90ish fastball. It appears pretty straight on TV. Tenn and Texas are two of the best hitting teams in CBB, if not the two best and he's mowing them down.
Whatever he's doing its working. Link is a friggin genius, if there was ever a team this is the byproduct of great coaching its this one.
Yup. High spin rate fastball located consistently in the top part of the zone. Very hard to hit. It’s not so much the speed or movement, it’s the rotation. Not 100%. But ND keeping Link from FSU would be a much bigger shock than ND beating Tennessee. If there is a team I wouldn't want to face in this year's CWS it would be Notre Dame. Great win for this team last night!
I don't like all this speculation that Link is gone after this season, is it 100% for sure he is gone?
If you ever did a little league all star tourney it’s exactly like that,… basically win as many in a row as you can to stay in the winners bracketSo ill admit it... I dont really pay attention to anything but ND football.

Agreed. To me no matter what the outcome is in the CWS keeping Link is most important. But ND keeping Link from FSU would be a much bigger shock than ND beating Tennessee.
