The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Fifth and final season.

The Last Kingdom is fantastic. Will hopefully start it soon.
As good as it is, the books are even better and I highly recommended anybody into the show reading the books.

I'm now well into season 3. Skade. I'm in love... or lust... or both. Hottest TV character in years.

Severance on Apple TV is incredibly good. It's a binger. I finished all nine episodes in only a few days. Couldn't turn it off.

In my head cannon that episode doesn't exist. Seemed like an attempt at a backdoor pilot for a spinoff. Once they saw how poorly it was received they seemingly dropped that plot completely from the show.

Just saw the Northman,…. So beautiful across the board. Stunning filmmaking throughout,… much like the Vvitch the first act steals it. I disliked the Watchtower so yeah. It felt lik a step back,… I came away thinking Nosferatu may be a perfect balance because his pacing might be perfect for horror…. We will see.

maybe a little off topic but what is going on with netflix because i was watching a podcast recently where they were saying that the company has lost over 200,000 subscribers over the last few months and are having to cancel some of the shows that they make. maybe people are just trying to save a few bucks like me i guess with gas and groceries be so high these days and watch free streaming services like tubi tv, pluto amongst many others

I saw The Northman. My least favorite of his films. Even knowing everything going in, it seemed…extremely pagan to the point where I wondered if I really should be watching.

I agree with the below. The movie was just yearning for Christianity.

For the Vikings of ‘The Northman,’ Christianity is the only way forward

Although only mentioned in passing, the idea of God as a "corpse nailed to a tree" haunts the film's pagans throughout.

The Northman and The Witch are on my short list of movies to watch soon, but I'm with you on The Lighthouse. I can appreciate what they were going for and their execution, the cinematography was very good, and both actors did a good job (outstanding even), but I just didn't get a shiver up my leg from watching it. I didn't find enough depth and substance to the idea to base an entire movie's plot around it. They took what should've been a major storyline in a larger tale, and expanded it into the entire plot.
