I’m factoring the length of time Hillary has been around the national forum. Not directed at you but anyone trying to claim one is worse than the other for America between those two is like choosing between a shit sandwich & a bowl of shit…I don’t want to eat either one.

Bowls are typically less carbs...

The wall street stuff of 2008 is like Hiroshima of financial crimes, and look what happened there. So ol'Donny? Who knows, he likely gets some large fine and that's it.
Side note to your post^^^. I’m still fascinated by the housing bubble/meltdown. I’ve read “The Big Short” and another book (forgot the title) on the fall of Lehman Bros written by a former trader who saw it happen in real time. In addition, there are some great docs covering some of the other bad actors. It’s amazing and I’m sure it will happen again.

Biden and Trump. Both very dangerous, but for very different reasons.

Heard a discussion on the radio yesterday. If I heard correctly, the POTUS has the right to declassify any material they want to, which Donnie may have done prior to taking to Mar-a-Lago? They didn't know for sure. They did say that correspondence and other material belong to the office and not the president themselves, so it appears Donnie shouldn't have done what he did.

Lots of meltdown from the Don haters on this. They were let down just like with the Mueller report.

They can't come to grips with the possibility that the guy just might be a jerk and a slime ball who is real good at playing the grey areas.
Correct but he does himself no good when he blathers on w/ zero context and the media takes his sound bites to paint him back in Putin’s corner. If he’d STFU and let whoever is pulling Biden’s strings handle this he’d do himself some favors. He finally gets closure on the Russia hoax and puts both feet right back in his mouth. He has been & always will be his own worst enemy.

Obviously a Russian asset.

The problem with Trump is and always will be that he says so much contradictory shit that you can clip anything to support whatever narrative that you want. He is the Rorschach test of politics. For example:

Agreed. He gives his haters on both sides of the aisle all the ammo they need. The neo-Cons are like pigs in slop w/ the prospect of another war so not surprised to see them joining forces w/ the Dems to resuscitate the faux Russia-gate tale.

The number of people falling over themselves to lick neo-con boots is really something else. You can hate Putin, think his actions are awful and at the same time think Europe needs to deal with it LOOOONNNNNGGGG before the good ole USA needs to lift a finger. US needs to get serious about dominating oil/gas production and leveraging an energy advantage to building out manufacturing of essential products from fertilizer to semiconductors. Demonizing "carbon" and "dirty" industry to push it all over seas and jack up the cost of doing business only empowers dictators and despots. Whether that is Russia selling their natural resources or China selling its human resources.

Tonight Biden will triple down on solar panels, windmills and unicorn farts with Germany's 70% energy dependence on Russia putting us all at risk of nuclear war. Galaxy brain work there.

You have spoken your piece on Ukraine.

It is captured.

Your place on the list is simultaneously safe and permanent.

You can distract, dissemble and obfuscate all you want. Won't work, laddie

We will remember.

This is up there with Trump being sarcastic with his sunlight/bleach line.
You know that Trump never suggested injecting bleach, right? Never used that word. That inaccurate (and knowingly dishonest) argument went on and on in the Trump thread a couple of years ago until I challenged anyone to post the video of him saying it and got no takers, since it doesn't exist. That ended the constant "He wants people to inject bleach!" nonsense. This is the sort of thing many of us have been complaining about in this thread: completely made up lies or ridiculously stretched, distorted, dishonest use of information to further a narrative. If you have to stoop to this level to argue a point, that says a lot about the validity of your point. Intellectual dishonesty isn't something to be proud of. Let the facts determine your views, not the other way around.

Equally as dishonest is denying the man stood on a dais during a briefing and said thenfollowing incoherent ramblings after being briefed by staff members who were Concerned he was given too much to process:
himself, “So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn't been checked, but you're going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you're going to test that, too. It sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that
He used the words bringing light into the body and injecting disinfectant in a rambling incoherent response in regards to a disinfectant. Acting like he didn’t say this is equally dishonest. “People joked about it inside the White House like, ‘Are you drinking bleach and injecting sunlight?’ People were mocking it and saying, ‘Oh let me go stand out in the sun, and I’ll be safe from Covid,” said one former administration official. “It honestly hurt. It was a credibility issue. … It was hurting us even from an international standpoint, the credibility at the White House. For you to get hung up on him explicitly saying injecting bleach is begin dishonest about what actually happens on the stage that day which is this larger point. He was clearly overwhelmed and out of his depth.

Boy, that doesn't do a whole lot to dispute the claim. I guess with some statements a galaxy brain is used to understand the meaning, and then for others you need to see the nuance.

Savvy = nuance
Disinfectant injection = galaxy brain

“A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world,” Trump began, clearly thinking the question himself, “So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn't been checked, but you're going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you're going to test that, too. Please clear it up for us then.

Bishop is incspable of understanding how the complete disaster of this press conference was weaponized into a slogan used by his adversaries and apparently people inside his own WH.

Did you see the word bleach in there anywhere? Point it out to me if you did. Again, here's why you get blasted by me so often for what you do, Cack. You twist, stretch, "interpret," and straight up dishonestly and intentionally misrepresent stuff in order to support a false narrative. We all admitted years ago that he made his point clumsily, but he never suggested injecting bleach. Instead of your side just saying, "Well, he floundered around and rambled," you had to just outright lie about what was said. That's so typical. I'm not defending Trump and this isn't the place to rehash that particular moment in his presidency. The point is that most of us are tired of dishonest representation of facts and evidence in these threads. Stop claiming shit that isn't so. For fuck's sake, argue honestly and stop distorting what people say and what they stand for.

This is fucking stupid. Lmao. It’s not a false narrative. He is actually quoted as saying injecting a disinfectant. Earlier in the presser he mentioned bleach as effective disinfectant. Lol. You are so off base here. It was disastrous and ignorant and he was out of his depth. His political opponents weaponized that. I’m sure GOP hasn’t ever done anything like that. Keep defending him. Lmao

So because he didn't say the word bleach, he didn't suggest injecting disinfectant? Are you kidding me? I just posted the video lmao

Cack, let it go. You drove yourself nuts to the point of having to leave IE for awhile over the Trump nonsense. You got fooled into believing something and kept hanging onto it LONG after everyone else knew it was false, and drove yourself and the rest of us bonkers with all the nonsensial rants about it. Trump is out of office. He's gone. Let him go. Stop letting everything about him get under your skin. That you're still posting years-old speeches about him to make some phony point is not good.
