Is CV a generational QB like Watson, Lawrence, Fields ect?

list not exclusive...
ouch, I struggle with that list.

Lawrence to me was a generational quarterback and will be in the NFL once the Urban Meyer stench leaves.

I can't even put Fields in the same category.

I think the AFC has five-7 tall Future Hall of Fame quarterbacks.

Mahomes
Lawrence
Watson (if Rusty Hardin gets him off and he ever plays)
Justin Herbert
Burrow
Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson

I can't even put Mack Jones at that level and the jury, for me, remains out on Fields.

I'm all in on Trevor, think him far superior to Luck.

But that list of young guns in the AFC (and they are tall guns) has some serious upside.

For today, my horse in the race is Trevor Lawrence. I'm all in, and yeah, I eat my crow fricaseed.

One final note on Clemson

It was Tahj Boy who walked
so Deshaun Watson could run
and Trevor Lawrence could fly!

Before DJ Uiagalelei completely face planted.

I dont think Jackson makes the HOF. Him at his peak? Absolutely lightning in a bottle. But pretty sure his best is behind him already.

Not sure on Burrow or Allen yet either. But their style of play is more conducive to playing at a high level longer.

I prefer Vizzina because I have a vibe.
Hard to compare work out clips or highlights from a game(s) to watching a full game, so I can't speak for Vizzina, but I watched Moore play against 6A @Carmel out of Indy. Carmel is usually one of the top 5 in Indiana. Moore is the real deal. Strong arm with great accuracy while on the run. Throws a nice deep ball as well. Sees the field and processes things quickly.

I don't disagree but Jackson could evolve as a passer. He could become less reliant on his athletic potential because he's not just an athlete playing QB. He understands the position and needs to take a step forward for longevity.

I have my mind set on Moore but this guy is clearly good enough to ease my mind on ND getting an elite QB in the door under Freeman's watch. It has to happen.

That being said, my preference as a silly fan that doesn't know anything about football would be Moore at this point.

It's hard to have a preference but which is more likely to swap their pledge at the 11th hour?

Vizzina to Bama or Moore to UM? Those are the fears lurking in my heart

All the way up to #20 overall (#4 QB) in On3's new rankings.

Dante Moore pushed down to #49 overall (#5 QB).

Won't complain about either.

This will probably be repeated ad nauseam on multiple threads, but you can pretty much ignore On3's rankings.

The guy who did them is an absolutely biased dipwad.

All the ND guys seem to rank well.

Per Loy. Not on commit watch. Still plans to visit Clemson, OSU, Alabama.
Also, reasoning for Bama visit "just in case"

Loy put a little damper on Vizzina in recent notes. He does feel very good about Moore though. Even giving him a "silent CB"

On Moore, I think we’re entering a loop of they seem so quietly confident that maybe they are just dead wrong if you’re a skeptic. Like the pendulum based of what I’ve read should be in the very confident section but maybe it flips around and is in complete misread. Loy seems pretty confident and only growing. Even Singer made reference to the March 18 - 22 tour and said he heard Moore could just end up visiting ND that weekend instead.

Silent CB... almost as accurate as a silent commit.

This almost reminds me of Braiden "Butthole Herpes" McGregor, but not exactly.

I'm hedging in case the Whore in Ann Arbor has brainwashed another kid into following his dirty tactics.

Is that like a promise ring? Or like when Rack Em got ACamp's name tattooed on his inner thigh?

a silent CB sounds like the most click-baity, please keep reading about Dante Moore, shit I have ever heard.

It may very well come true but hard to think this isnt a whole industry being clueless or a fanbase left out/lead astray.

Loy burying his thoughts in the reply/comment section of a VIP thread feels like the opposite of click bait?

Ok, so not click bait. Pandering perhaps?

All the ND guys seem to rank well.
Other than Keeley and Peyton Bowen, the rest of the ND commits all saw MASSIVE drops.

To put it in perspective, On3 has Keeley and Bowen as ND's only top 100 players. Next highest is Brenan Vernon at 175, which...no. Whereas 247 Composite has ND with 4 commits ranked in the top 70.

4 out of ND's commits were dropped out of the top 300 altogether. And it's no shock that the only 2 guys that saw bumps, were from the South, while the other 7 guys who saw those ridiculous drops, all but Irvin were from other areas of the country.

The On3 rankings were made by 1 guy, who is a regional analyst for Alabama, and to everyone's shock, the top 100 consists of 2/3 guys from his region. And the justifications for some of the dips like Drayk Bowen's for example, just make it clear as day that he either didn't watch the actual film and he's just too lazy to do the work, or he's just that insanely biased towards the southern boys.

That isn't to say Vizzina is overrated, because I think he has a legitimate argument to be a top 50 overall player. But considering the overwhelming bias of the list as a whole, I'm definitely writing it off. It's clear that when it came to Vizzina v. Moore, this guy basically used the argument of, well Vizzina plays in the South and Moore doesn't, thus Vizzina > Moore. Because it's apparent he did that with A LOT of players on his ranking.

Still reaching his target market and driving clicks?

There is nothing to click on lol. It was a reply to a question in a long multi page thread even folks who subscribe will likely miss and really just a reference to a old post. He didn’t just say something like I’m placing a silent CB.
