Good for you? 800,000 people haven't shared your results. 10 people in the world? Cite your source. And why do you think this isn't anything like we saw in 2020? The same reason deaths started dropping off in Jan/Feb/March of this year, I'll wait while you look it up. Also deaths are lagging indicators so give it another few weeks before you say its nothing.
This was published on Friday 12/17. As of yesterday the UK has reported 7 deaths attributed to the omicron variant. The US reported its first death yesterday in Houston, so yeah my number was off. It isn't 10, it's 8.
"In a report released last month, the organisation (WHO) said that of the 38 countries touched by the variant, none have reported Omicron-specific deaths. Since then, it has spread rapidly, and one person in the UK has died with the new variant. Other countries have not yet recorded deaths or significant hospitalisation numbers."

Also, I realize 800,000 people have died. I was talking specifically about the new variant and admitted that it spreads quicker, but symptoms are less mild across the board.
