Remains to be seen whether or not Fisher was a home run for the Aggies and you'd want to pay him even more?

Elko should get an offer for one of the vacancies, right? Maybe UVA would be a great fit for him.

UVA is likely taking Penn State's Co-DC/Safeties Coach Poindexter who is a UVA alum iirc.

from espn
Wednesday, 9 a.m.: Duke's search for David Cutcliffe's successor seems to be narrowing to highly regarded assistant coaches--Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliott and Texas A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko. But there's also a familiar name that is drawing at least some interest from the Blue Devils: former Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett.

Tony Elliott is the other UVA finalist, so if Poindexter gets it, Elliott could beat out Elko for Duke.

I want Elliott out of Clemson for nothing more than to watch Dabo "Nobody gets paid but me" Swinney squirm. Elliott and Elko would both be good fits at Duke, honestly.

I thought that Elliott was the reason Clemson's offense was trash this year though so I'd prefer they keep him.

Ohio State just poached Okie State's DC:

Can't find anything about whether he'll be coaching against us in the bowl or not, but won't be good for the Pokes' morale regardless.

Second OKS coach Day has poached (Yurcich 2019) from the Cowboys.

This comment by one of their fans made me laugh.
Choke away a Conference Championship followed by this. Gundy is on a role.

How well will OKSt defense play against ND w/o their DC?

He doesn't start until after the bowl game, but you have to wonder if his mind will be solely on preparation. Curious to see how the players react as well.

pOSU's new DC will have a month to prepare for the bowl game against ND and then carryover that knowledge to pOSU for the first game of the year.

Kind of weird way to announce you’re staying. So Elliott to UVA?

One can hope. I am still keeping hope that Gattis can get the Duke job but perhaps this will push them to Elko.

What about all those years prior to this one?

Elliott started out as an RB coach at Clemson in 2011. He won two NC there and a Broyles Award. I think he's kind of alright.

Venables got there in 2012. He won the Broyles Award the year before Elliott did. Dabo losing them both now is fantastic. These guys are good coaches.

Jeff Scott is 3-18 at USF so far in two years. He's another one out of the picture.

absolutely! clemson next year not looking so tuff as it appeared at the beginning of the year....although i have been reading Dabo about to hit that transfer portal hard in getting guys

Of course he will. It benefits HIM.

Then he'll talk about how college football is all screwed up and players shouldn't be allowed to transfer or benefit in anyway. If there is one appetizer left on the tray, Dabo takes it without offering it to anyone else and doesn't think twice. Selfish hypocrite Muppet.

I'm just telling you what Clemson fans are saying. They can't wait to get rid of Elliott and say that Jeff Scott had far more to do with their offensive successes despite his poor HC record in South Florida.
