I would imagine Cincy fans are relieved right now.

So relieved that many of them are now talking about being ND fans by association.

A whole lot of people in Greater Cincy were ND fans by virtue of being Catholics in the Midwest, and would root for ND behind Cincy/Xavier/Ohio State/UK/UL etc. When BK left them before the Sugar Bowl, many of them swore off BK and ND, and have even held some pretty vicious animosity.

Now that BK is gone, I've already seen a growing sentiment of 'maybe we can root for them again if they promote Freeman, because we love that guy and it means they didn't steal Fickell.'

We'll see if that lasts once Oklahoma makes a hire lol.

Love this hire. We have a young, aggressive coaching staff who will recruit their asses off. I’m curious to see how Tommy coaches in our next game without BK pulling on the reins. There is a great energy in this program right now.

I think that ship has sailed forever per what others have said about treatment of players during his tenure. I'll be curious to see who comes in for the OL.
