He has legit interest. OSU likely wins out but he’s got real interest and has the easy pitch of being Kyle Hamilton, day 1 starter at Safety. In fact I believe they had Kyle hang with him this weekend.

Frank seems to think this comes to a close here soon and it could swing either way. ND did a fantastic job on his visit and might have won over mom and dad, but it will be Xavier's decision in the end.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say tOSU...no sources.

Despite ND having a far more appetizing depth chart and a first round pick at safety.

After seeing him in person, away from parents, in a cringy 7v7 setting being hawked by the OSU's proxy recruiting team of analysts, I can't picture him anywhere else but Columbus.

Not a prediction, just feeling based on one day. I've actually spent very little time following XN and don't have an educated opinion yet. The only thing I know is ND's hat's on the table

Being early here sounds like what is giving us a shot.

When talking about the visit, called O Leary one of his strongest relationships in part due to length and BK had given him one of his first offers

Singer still thinks that Ohio State has a slight lead, but remains optimistic that ND remains in the hunt, and the game is not over, per Singer's most recent podcast with WSBT..

Interesting nugget from Singer that he was told OSU is recruiting X as a Hybrid LB/S. Haven’t found a OSU article to confirm that but I’d think that maybe helps us a bit

Anyone have a recollection if he’s always had only a old CB from Lorenz on the Michigan site to OSU? Kinda shocked Kurelic doesn’t have a Buckeye CB sitting there

Eh, not sure, OSU already has 5 secondary players...This tells me that they want him bad and are willing to carve out a role for him, anyway possible. What would be better is if the filled up and were forced to pass (which is nuts to think about).

Go watch the video Singer did with the Rivals OSU guy. They talk about it in-depth. That’s who tells Singer. It’s called the “bullet” position in OSU’s defense. They want Branch at the traditional Safety position & X at the bullet. It’s a position OSU pushes hard to transition to the NFL. It’s actually a big selling point for them.

Good points. It’s all how the info is conveyed in the end. I like our pitch better but X just needs to lol. Are their any recent NFL pick examples for this exact spot for OSU?
