Loved the interview. I definitely want this kid to be Irish. Has a chip on his shoulder but is also supremely confident in his abilities. I think it’s worth noting that he is very aware of the Nd fans who weren’t thrilled with his commitment.

werent thrilled with his commitment or the early offer/acceptance of by the staff. They are linked but also different.

The kid can run and has position flexibility. When you are talking a class of 4, one of them def. should be of that mold.

Give it a listen. A 4.41 40 and a 40 inch vert, SMFH. I mentioned back in this thread that some of his workouts show a good athlete. Bounce, hips, etc but damn. This is elite stuff.

Someone around here said they thought he had elite speed and I was like, it’s good but I don’t know about elite. Take your victory lap.

That was me! I'll take my lap, thank you.

I'm stoked about this kid and have been since he committed. You don't see kids his size/height who can move that well very often. Great get by the staff and great job by them of getting in on him early before anyone else knew what they were missing.

+1. I liked him more than most but I did not see these numbers coming.

He's committed Coach O. Go find some sorority girl to mess around with.

When did he wipe the ND Commit info off his bio and header?

I'm not here to start no trouble, I'm just here to do the Super... update of the OP

I haven't been on his account in a long time.

Someone on Rivals said it wasn’t there to begin with when the Bama offer happened

OK. He had some info on it after the commitment and a tweet pinned. Now he has neither of course.

Was just curious if it was a new development.

Oddly enough, I'm just adding the EARLY ENROLLEE info to the EE'ers profiles and was like... oh boy, better ask the board first.

If he goes DB why does everyone assume it is as an S?
He looks CB to me.

6’4” CB would be pretty cool if it worked. I think Donte Vaughn was in the vicinity, but not quite there. I’m not writing him out as a WR though and hope we can keep him in the class and figure it out later.

For reference, his Singer interview IIRC conveyed two things:

- He doesn’t care either way

- ND wants me at WR was I believe the exact verbiage

LSU Football: Tigers working to flip a Notre Dame commit

by Zach Ragan

9 hours ago Follow @zachTNT

LSU football is working hard to flip a Notre Dame commit.

2022 three-star athlete Amorion Walker has been committed to the Fighting Irish since early March, but the Tigers are hoping to keep the talented recruit home in Louisiana.

Walker, 6-foot-3 / 178 lbs from Ponchatoula, LA (Ponchatoula), is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 65 athlete in the country and the No. 35 player in Louisiana.

The talented 2022 recruit visited LSU twice this week, finally receiving an offer from the Tigers. He also recently received an offer from Alabama.

Will LSU football flip Walker from Notre Dame?

When Walker committed to Notre Dame in March, he didn’t have an offer from LSU. There’s no doubt that the recent offer from the Tigers will have Walker reconsidering his options.

But will it be enough to flip Walker from the Irish?

(It’s worth noting that when Walker committed to Notre Dame over Mississippi State, where his father was a tight end, it was a bit of a surprise.)

It’s a bit early to say for sure. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Walker, at the very least, reopen his recruitment in the coming weeks.

When the hometown program offers, you have to at least listen (especially when it’s a storied program like LSU).

Walker committed to Notre Dame as a wide receiver, but 247Sports reported this week that he’s being recruited to the Tigers as an athlete (he’s worked out at both wide receiver and safety).

My gut tells me that LSU will end up flipping Walker. But we’ll have to see how the numbers work out in the Tigers’ 2022 recruiting class. LSU currently has 11 players committed to its 2022 recruiting class, with several top targets still left on their board.

He needs to be nicknamed "Slim Reaper" if he sticks with ND and balls out when he arrives.

No argument there at all. But that guy writes for a sports pub out of Nashville and does free lance stuff for the SEC. Just a piece I ran across.

We'll see what happens, I'm looking forward to ND finally landing their first 4.4 WR that was committed to them but who visited his local blue blood twice in the week before his OV... after wiping his commitment info from his twitter header and leaving home town team's offer tweet on the top of his feed in the same week.

'Where there's smoke' usually wins the day but the new and improved ND recruiting machine makes ya feel more this:bbanana:than this:pray:

Until he puts "@ NDFootball Commit" in his Twitter bio like he does his 7v7 team, the @ LABootleggers, I'll say this story closes with an alternative ending.

I am curious to see if he gets a bump or not if he sticks.

He’s getting weighed down by Rivals but should get an increase everywhere. Rivals evals are an embarrassment, idk how they try to compete w/ 247 unless they fix it. Scale that no one understands, almost never update.
