Says he was under 200 in his sophomore film...and I thought it was pretty decent. His spring season film might be a treat to watch. I do like his pass rush ability, and he thinks he can carry up to 265 pretty comfortably. Intriguing.

Adam Friedman, Rivals East Coast Analyst, put in his FC for ND today.

Notable from his conversation with Singer, at Rivals, was he played his Sophomore season at 195 and now he’s at 230. And he’ll be playing a Spring season so we’ll get to see, soon, what he looks like at that weight.

Fun fact - we had him at our lacrosse summer camp two years ago. He was the top long pole there and was a strong transfer candidate, but ended up sticking with his public school.

Absolutely wild to see him develop into a legit football prospect, and I’m sure our football coaches wish we’d done a better job recruiting him! Two years ago he was one heck of an athlete and was big, but was filled out more like a WR than DE. He must’ve seriously started packing on pounds.

He gave a ton of credit to Elston in his 247 interview. I love this pickup. Bright future ahead for this young man. They are in an exceptional spot with DL recruiting right now.

His comments to ISD were very interesting. He said he that ND was #1 the whole time. Which is the opposite of what the industry guys were saying as PSU were the perceived the leader up to this point.

It’ll be interesting if they continue to go after Wesolak or more in the mold of a Tafiti/Moss ROLB.

Personally I think they are recruiting to 3 profiles Big End, WDE, and Vyper. They have the first 2 and need the 3. Moss and Tafiti seem to fit the 3rd better than Wesolak but he might be too good to pass up. I guess we’ll see.

Do they still take either Bauman or Hamm?

How many of Wesolak, Moss, Tafiti (vyper/ROLB) do they take?
- when considering their positions with Cheeks, Jackson, and other OLBs?

However it works out, I have confidence Freeman will fill his compliment of players rather than miss positions he wanted bodies at. Could be a big number...

I'm hoping for one more DE and two DT's in the remaining class. Honestly, if that is who ND's going for at DE then you really can't go wrong or be mad about any of the three. They are all studs. DT I really don't know much but I hope they recruit Isaac Hamm for DT because if he's amenable to it then I think a 6'5'' 300+lb guy at DT is always helpful. Very curious to know what's up with Caden Curry. I'd bet he's a little miffed that Elston didn't offer him a while ago because he didn't fit his profile, but I guess we'll see. Very exciting times for DL recruiting in the 2022 cycle!

I think you could add Lucas and Artis to that list at DT. In fact, Artis is my #1 want at the position.
