Vaccinate him, get him a mask and hand sanitizer so he can visit.

This looks like the sort they could do with at QB. Could they develop him into a chesty dude who can carry the team to a title is the question.

Sites are saying there is a ton of pull to stay home and play at UK.

Must be selling him on breaking the "local hero" curse that's been in place since Andre Woodson tore up* the SEC in 2007.

I was bummed that Patrick Towles didn't pan out, though I think Stoops mismanaged his development terribly. Drew Barker never had a shot, because he wasn't actually that good, but also because he had injury issues to deal with.

*UK was just 8-5... but their 2007 team was great fun to watch on offense, and they had that 3OT win over #1 LSU that is in every "greatest games of the 2000's" compilation.

I saw his top 9 and thought it was interesting.

He is listed as a composite #72 OA, 3 Dual QB, 0.9693. 247 has him even higher at 40 OA, 2nd Dual

Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati - LOCAL
Ole Miss - SEC
ND, Oregon - National brands
G Tech, WV, Rutgers???

Power 5 schools listed as offered who didn't make cut:
Kansas, Maryland, scUM, Mich St, Mizz, Nebraska, TCU, Vandy, Va Tech

Not exactly a murders row...and scUM has offered 16 QBs so he was likely a shot gun offer as they try to find someone to come in at QB the class after the 5star savior. I'm VERY surprised more blue bloods DIDN'T do the same.

Compare offer list to guys he is ranked ahead of:
MJ Morris, Conner Weigman, Jacurri Brown, Braden Davis, AJ Duffy, Cade Klubnik, Tanner Bailey, Nicco Marchiol, even our boy Steve Angeli...

Now I know not all offers are created equal. But almost 10 guys "below" him to all have noticeable better offer lists. At the most important position where schools are likely to hand out offers to top guys so they cover all their bases...something is up and my guess is his ranking will reflect it by signing day 2022.

Other than maybe the locale lure ... Louisville, UK or Cincy all within approx. 200 miles or less.

I didn't even know he had a profile.

Not happening.

Get Allar aboard the Allar train right now. Trust me.

Don't go star chasing, Allar is clearly the better prospect at QB to me at least. I would absolutely take Wimsatt at RB though. I think he could be a dynamic QB in an offense that is less talented than ours, but I don't think that Wimsatt is the type of QB you want to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Wimsatt is a great QB, but Allar is currently my favorite for the type of offenses we tend to run. Wimsatt is right behind though.

I'm with ya, the more I watch Allar, Id take him first. Both are studs. Would be happy either way

I’m with ya’ll in that I think Wimsatt could be a baller in college. However, I’m all in on Allar.

It's not that he won't be able to be a good starter in Cfb, but I don't think he has the potential to elevate the team any more than we currently are. I see him sort of like Phil Jurkovec, excellent runner and will probably grind out a lot of wins for a mid major, but so many of the throws on that highlight tape are touchdowns to absolutely wide open guys, and he's throwing a step behind his guy pretty often. I don't think he would really excel at ND being coached by BK.

But I am also a fucking moron who has been wrong many times.

Yea, if we don't see an offer on Allar in the next week or so, then I will assume that Rees feels really good about his chances here.

Part of this could be also being respectful to the kids you zeroed in on early in the process, but if that is the case, I do not understand the Ty Simpson offer this late in the game for him.

Implications for the Allar recruitment, perhaps?

Again his offers and his rankings don’t meet. His offer list is very weak IMO for a QB with that ranking. On a side note we need to offer more QB’s this 3,4,5 Qb offers is not gonna cut it.

He's an upside guy, right. Some programs don't want to take that gamble while some do. Rating agencies see the value in that gamble, I guess. I'd be thrilled to have him, if he were to commit soon. But, I like Allar more and would like to see that offer go out soon. Angeli really isn't part of the conversation for me anymore.

QB A: ND, Ole Miss, Oregon, Louisville, Michigan
QB B: Iowa, Michigan, PSU, A&M, Washington
QB C: ND, Oregon, LSU, OSU, PSU

Angelli, Allar and Wimsatt. You could argue all 3 rankings don’t meet the offer list in one way or another. That’s IMO the top 5 offers for the 3 mixed up.
