Now this is old school ND recruiting that I grew up on. Passing on the local kid for the 5* from California. Ultimately missing on both!
Just kidding.
Maybe slightly different in this situation considering he’s taken 3 visits before his Junior Year. How many prospects from Cali have done that?
Naz signed off & Loy withdrew his CB.
In Buchner we trust.
Brady Allen, you are on the clock.
Still no contact yet with Allen from the ND staff.
That's weird. I thought it was usually that the Kearney follow means they are communicating and the Peloquin follow means they are visiting.
FWIW, Shane Walton is a 247 subscriber, from La Jolla, and is now back coaching Buchner. He absolutely gushes about the kid both athletically and personally. His camp thinks if healthy he's going to have a monster year. At this point the staff loves Buchner and where they stand with him. Only time will tell if that is the right strategy.
Shane Walton the soccer player turned All-American safety? Is his coach? That has to help our chances of actually landing this kid.

He’s not a take for OSU either which is why it’s bizarre to put Kelly and staff on blast.
Who is blasting Kelly/Staff?
Is the info about him not being a take at OSU credible? I've read the rumors in various comment sections but I've not seen anyone's name attached to the statement.
Naz did in the Buchner thread.
Ok but do people really think Campbell is gonna be at ISU in 21? Let alone for JJ's 3rd/4th year?Type of guy Campbell at ISU needs to swoop in on
Naz also declared himself no longer a fan of ND over this and some mysterious mistreatment of Julian Love, and then ghosted. So who knows.
This recruitment has been made so dramatic it's hilarious. Wish JJ nothing but the best.
Drama free ND recruiting... Never heard of it.
So if Fong is Naz, does that mean Koon is Loy?
Fair, but it's not even ND recruiting at this point.
Thought Koon was Freeman?
While ND isn't recruiting McCarthy any longer, he and Buchner are tied at the hip from now until the end of their college careers. They'll be weighed, judged & compared from this day forward by a lot of people. The fact that they could face off on the field in the future makes it that much more interesting. Who will get the better end of the deal? Will it be a wash? Time will tell.
And NDnation also exists. Doesn't make it worth the time, lol.
I sincerely wish JJ nothing but the best but time to move on.
