Hey everyone, I know I have not been on here as much for quite some time but I was busy helping two of my relatives for months due to their battles with cancer. One of them lost her battle a couple of months ago and early yesterday morning an 81-year-old uncle of mine lost his battle. I was extremely close to both as was the rest of my family. This has been a rough year for us due to people we lost. :'(

I'm sorry for your loss. We'll pray for you and your family. The scars of cancer are too often born by the hearts of the survivors...not fair.

My dad, ex-prof at ND, died of cancer a couple of years ago. Thoughts are with you and the family. God speed.

Thank you everyone. my uncle found out he had cancer just three weeks before it took him. But he was a kind-hearted man who had faith, so I know he is in a much better place. I will definitely see him again as well as all in my family that have passed on.

Feel for you, my father passed away in Feb and just recently my uncle (his brother) found out he is filled up with cancer... we had a family gathering at my house this past weekend where all my aunts and uncles from around the country came in to basically say 'goodbye'... it was rather odd.

Anyway, just to let you and yours know you're not alone and scores of people from all other share your feelings.. prayers to all.
