There is a never ending stock of those in my freezer... every couple years I'll go "Hey, these are dirt cheap, I remember liking them years ago... why not?"

Then I'll get home and look to put them in the back of the freezer only to find 20 remaining from the last pack I bought 3 years prior....

I would try that. It looks a lot like goetta, a midwestern delicacy that finds its roots in German heritage. Amazing breakfast food when you get a slab of goetta that's crispy on the outside but just a bit mushy and hot on the inside.

Give me an over-medium egg with some crispy goetta between two pieces of buttered toast. Let that runny egg get on everything. #BreakfastFoodPorn
