per loy---he has been told he is oklahoma bound but he has a weird feeling he could change his mind before signing day...mike frank thinks its 50/50, anna thinks its 50/50 so yeah everyone thinks its a 50/50

I'd say it's more 75/25.

those relationships he's built with OU will be too hard to overcome in the end imo.

best of luck to him, kick urban's arse next year.

That's such a bad look that my first thought was that it's actually an ND fan in disguise.

Some OU fan called that guy out as a troll. Obviously, it could be, but I think there is a greater chance that it's just a really dumb Sooner fan.

Probably an ND fan trolling:

@calebkkelly don't let them sell u on academics and that 40 year crap. That's not how aggressive Sooner fans sound on Twitter. Never seen any other fanbase reference the "40 year decision" slogan.

I can't say that I've seen other fanbases blow off the 40 year decision on twitter. However, I've seen tons of them do it on their message boards. Schools like Tennessee, Ohio State and YES even Oklahoma. These fans view the "40 year decision" as an overused phrase that means nothing. To the average fan at these schools, they can't comprehend why academics is even a factor.

Hence, why they are fans for other schools. Ba duh duh.

Initially I thought there is no way they would drive that far. But the more I think about it, the more I think it's a possibility. Even though it would be the third appearance, it might actually have the biggest impact considering the distance.

I know the odds are with OU, but have we lost hope, or is Kelly still at least a possibility?

There is still a plausability. I would say 40% chance he signs with us.

I don't know about recruiting, but the best women I have landed come with about 10% odds.

LOL! I was trying to figure out if I missed anything. Looks like there is about a 82% chance I didn't.

A question for the stats and probabilities guys in the house...
Let's assume his mind is made up and he knows where he is going and Oregon was never in consideration.

That means there is a 100% chance he goes to ND or a 100% chance he goes to OU.

How does that translate by way of some mathematical probabilities principle into a percentage? Can that even be quantified mathematically?

Now I think the better way to look at this is Vegas style. I'd set the line at:

Kelly going to OU = 1:2

Kelly going to ND = 5:1

That is fair but many of us do not think of terms of vegas probabilities so that is why we use percentages

I would say the percentages aren't really probabilities, but rather the percentage of confidence the poster has that he will commit, i.e, I am 45% confident he will pick ND.
