It will interesting to see what wins out here. I've been adamant for awhile now that his hands are an issue (or the consistency with which he uses them) and will be for scouts but his speed is truly special.
You can teach him to use his hands better. He will go pretty early because you can't teach speed. Renaldo Nehemiah had hands of stone, but his speed kept him in the league for three years before they gave up on him.
Ball skill issues as in hands only or ball skill issues as a whole?Apparently Kelly and company didn't want to take this approach?
Never said he was going to be a bust. I said it'll be interesting when draft time comes which side wins out. There is clearly some ball skill issues whether that be by choice or by skillset.
Interesting analogy. One has some of the greatest hands in NFL history, the other only uses his chest.I've said it before. He reminds me of Marvin Harrison with his speed and size. Marvin held up quite well in the NFL.

The Raiders at 14 us always a possibility. Or their 2nd rounder.
To me there is a big gap between the 2. He finds the ball in the air well, adjusts to the ball, and can go get the ball, he just doesn't always trust his hands. I see it as him having great ball skills, but lacks elite hands.I don't know, I've never stood with him at a jugs machine before. He clearly lacks a lot of confidence in catching the ball with his hands, thats why he jumps to body catch the ball. He's made some great catches with his hands before, so I don't think its entirely that. Probably a little of both but mostly mental.

And his hands issue always seems to be when he is directly facing the ball as it comes to him. That's what seems odd. He has shown, at times, a great ability to catch with his hands. But when it comes straight at him he flips his hands and allows it to his body.

He's made amazing hands catches--on the deep ball coming over his shoulder.

In my opinion Fuller is a 2nd round pick. His ability to create separation and his speed are 1st round material but his hands should drive him into the 2nd.
Having said that I can see a team taking him in the first round. If Troy Williamson, Tavon Austin, Breshad Perriman, Ted Ginn and Darius Heyward-Bey are 1st round picks then some team might take Fuller in the 1st.
Keep in mind it only takes 1 team to see his value. Packers could take him mid/late first round, they need him. Or a team like that, Panthers?
I think the Panthers need more of a possession WR but the Packers is an interesting option if somebody was going to draft him in the 1st. With Jordy out they couldn't stretch the field at all this year.
