"I want to live in America, just not WITH Americans, you follow?"
"I want to be married, but I still need my personal space, yo."
This thread is really coming together nicely.

Pretty much."I want to live in America, just not WITH Americans, you follow?"
"I want to be married, but I still need my personal space, yo."

No, the point is, why should he spend 3-5 years in cold weather when he doesn't have to? If he gets drafted by a pro team in a cold weather city, that still doesn't mean he should have gone to a cold weather school. If you have spent most of your life in a warm weather climate and don't like cold weather, and you can go to a very good school (USC sells great academics even if their football players take easy courses) right down the street from your house, why would you go to a cold weather school?
There's a reason why so many people move to CA, TX, AZ and FL et al. Not sure why so many people think he's a pussy for admitting to hating the cold, especially when this very site has a thread dedicated for bitching about the cold lol. To each his own. Seems like a good kid too...
money to travel home during breaks...they aint cheap flights, complete lack of exposure
Tyler James Twitter:
Betiku reached out to say he didn't tell Eichenberg that. His explanation: "I told him it was more about the having to be in the dorms for 3 years. I'm a Nigerian I have culture clashes with Americans and I want to have my personal space at least by my sophomore year."
Other than the fact that it seems pretty stupid/racist of him to state this, isn't it just incorrect? I thought you are only required to stay on campus freshman year.

This may be perhaps the first time the following is appropriate and not racist: "Go the F*** back to Africa."
Nope... still inappropriate...
Why?
Man: "Honey, let's get married because I like the tax benefits that come from marriage. But I really can't stand you and don't want to have to really interact with you. So, let's get married but have as little as possible to do with each other."
Woman: "F*** you. Get the hell out."
I'm not really sure what your analogy was supposed to mean, but telling a kid "go the f*ck back to Africa" because he doesn't want to go to Notre Dame is never appropriate. Especially coming from someone like you, who has crossed the line with that type of talk in the past.
Kapeesh?
It must be hard to be this dense. The issue isn't that he isn't willing to go to ND. It is that he can't bear the thought of having to live with Americans for an extended period of time.
I'm dense because I pointed out that it isn't advisable for a guy that, on multiple occasions been a racist arsehole, to make a joke about telling a kid "go the f*ck back to Africa"? I don't care what broader point you're trying to make, nor tried to debate any of them.
Gotcha... I like you a lot better when you don't post for a year because saying dumb stuff.
I'm sorry, not sure if it was missed in the whole "whose racist?" discussion above but was it posted yet that he got sent home from UA game? Because he got sent home from the UA game.
Towards his quote, if that's how he feels then I sure as hell don't want him at ND. Football is the ultimate TEAM sport and if he's worried about "culture clashes" when he can effectively live with a teammate after day and officially live with them after a year with a random roommate then he has a serious me-first personality flaw.
Unrelated but my freshman year random roommate was from Liberia. One of the coolest guys I've ever met and my life is much better for knowing him. Glad he wasn't prejudiced against "Americans." What a fucking immature clown quote by Wole, can't believe he said that publicly.
