1) Did you ever consider decommitting from ND after you chose ND? Why or why not?
Well, up until Monday before signing day I didn’t... when UF called me Monday I thought long and hard about it that night and Tuesday... there was a point Tuesday where I was going to call coach Weis and decommit but I talked to a very good friend of mine and I choose to stay with my commitment to ND.
2) Why did people think you were going to decommit?
Well, I made the mistake of texting a UF reporter before I had fully thought what I was going to do... and he went and told everyone and their mother’s haha... but that got out and my phone didn’t stop ringing the rest of Tuesday. And also UF was my choice before everything happened so I understand where people got their assumptions.
3) Explain how the last 3 days have been with your recruitment. Has it been fun? Have you ever been nervous, excited?
Well it was a great time in my life along with a great decision in my life... I made a decision that will affect me for the rest of my life... but I relished the moment cause not many people get to talk and go on free trips to see schools like I did.
4) What had you generally said to the people who’ve interviewed you from Monday to Wednesday? Had you given them any indication at all you’d be considering Florida?
Well no I tried my best not to let it out cause I didn’t want any of the ND coaches to get worried and be calling me. Basically all I told people was that I’m still committed to ND but imp going to have to do some thinking about everything
5) Why was ND the right place for you?
Because I had bonded with the coaches epically coach Parmalee and then coach Brown really impressed me when he came down to see me and he was real cool about everything. But besides, bonding with the coaches, the chance to play early and get a degree from "Notre Dame" was too much to turn down.
6) Do you read message boards? If so, for which teams? (ND, Florida?)
Well I had a Login a while back during the football season and I checked the UF boards a lot and I saw everything they wrote on me... but I lost it a little while ago... but I check rivals everyday and now I look at that Domer website you showed me.
7) Did any of the coaches ever seem to feel you were wavering your commitment?
No they didn’t... coach Ianello called me concerning the fact that he herd that UF had called me back. But he wasn’t worried that I would decommit...
