That is phenomenal. 8-4 in perhaps the worst division in Power 5 football (NOT exaggerating...it is up there with the worst of them) and couldn't even beat out WAY-overrated Georgia and Florida who are horribly down from their apex - and now they're bragging about winning SEC championships??? hahahahaha

(cue the Tennessee apologists)

Here is one.

Tenn lost four games by 17 points. They had two of the four playoff teams beaten and lost late in the game. Doesn't mean they will be good next year, but I wouldn't dismiss them easily either. And yes... I can't stand Rocky Top.

I'm one as well. I'll take UT vs >70% of the top 25 right now. LA, normally you're sane, but guessing you have watched zero UT games. Very young team that needs to learn to close.

Guantanamo said EXACTLY what I'd want my incoming QB to say. Someone said you are what your record is, well Guantanamo is undefeated in Knoxville in that case.

After last year's class all they need is like you said, learn how to close out games or put yourself as a team in a position that your coach can't make the wrong call at the end of the game because you're up 2 TD's.

Tennessee is my pick to take off next year. 10-2 or 11-1. The one loss is to Bama I guess and they have them at home this time, they will be better, Bama should be down (compared to this year).

Keep talking Guantanamo and good luck winning the job next year btw. A lot of good, young QB talent in Knoxville at the moment.
