Is the emphasis on Not likely or he is choosing Notre Dame? Still confused.

Without a comma after likely it means he's probably not coming.

You obviously did well in Sister Holy Heiness' grade school English class?

I think there is a very good chance that we land this kid. I'm not sure who posted it a while back but his mom is in favor of him at ND and basically said he better have a good enough reason to not come here. It's between ND and Texas A&M right now and there is still a very good chance Sumlin isn't there next year.

I agree our chances improve if Sumlin leaves A&M, but what gives you the impression that there's a "very good chance" he'll be gone by the time McCulloch makes his decision?

Unfortunately, big bags of cash and Texas sized poonanny is usually enough reasons for an 18 yo not to come to ND. I hope that is not the case though. i would love to have him.

I don't know about next year but Sumlin blows. He's got a terrible record for the resources he has. Still, A&M was basically created to be the short kid who talks shit and tries to fight everyone. Mediocrity is their jam.

Update today on 247 board as Lucky said in his post he did not visit A&M this weekend. He did have a basketball tourney this weekend but supposedly did have a window to visit. Also unsure if he will take an official or not. Went to the A&M board and they were flipping out, so good news?

Regardless of outcome, chaos on the internet is never a bad thing. Right? Oh...
