I don't know that I expect it but it certainly wouldn't surprise me. As said before, I'd love to add him to this class because he is the ultimate "boom or bust" prospect but if he goes somewhere else, I just hope our coaches can fill his spot with another quality player.

I would actually be OK with all this, you know - from a purely entertainment standpoint.

Yup, the staff basically forced his hand by actually sticking to his redshirt. If he were to transfer now, he would waste a year of eligibility AND be two years removed from real game experience.

Agreed but I don't think thoughtfulness is actively used to describe our recent transfers.

Bryant - would've been the defacto starter and split time with CJ after Tarean went down.
Neal - could've been a great slot receiver
Vanderdoes - would've really helped anchor this line and given us even better rotations and been on a true contending team.
Kiel - probably would've started the year he left and the subsequent years.
Hill - would've been one of our best rush DEs most likely and would've played significant minutes this year.

Williams and Ferguson I understand, they simply weren't very good.

I keep forgetting about Jarron coming back. Still, he should be heavily involved next year. I wonder too if he can play DE? If so, I could see him getting some time to spell Rochelle so he can get some rest. If I remember right, he's a pretty big kid.

MDT has beefed up quite a bit, most definitely a DT, probably 3T with all the snaps we'll be getting from our 3 headed monster at NT. That trio is going to be nasty.

If the Hayes saga holds serve, he'll go to 3 different juco's over the next 3 years, play in 4 games total, run a 4.37 40, do 50 reps of 225 at the combine and be the highest rated player in the 2019 NFL draft.

As for his pro career, I'd hate to speculate on that at this time due to how few games I'm speculating he'll play in college.

And that being said....

Still want because opportunity cost is high and I'm motivated by fear of loss and my competition gaining an edge on me.

There is no bigger fan than I when it comes to Daelin Hayes the prospect. There is no bigger skeptic than I when it comes to Daelin Hayes the player.

All kidding aside, I'll take him everyday of the week and twice on Saturdays. All these experts can't be wrong can they? What I'm afraid of most is that he comes here and he turns out to be Ishaq Williams with a Baratti / Collinsworth shoulders.
