What did you guys think of this episode? I was disappointed to find out what was in the trailor. A little shocked but I was hoping for something crazy.

I actually thought it was a cool twist. We've been led down a road that they vanished like the others, but now it appears as though they ran away to join the Guilty Remnant. Considering Kevin and his family are getting ready to have their $3 million house burnt down (if not worse), I'd say this is a pretty significant turn of events.

I was actually happy to see that the disappearance of the girls wasn't another in a long line of mystic events. There are already a lot of crazy unexplained circumstances to sort through on this show, and last night I felt like some of the puzzle pieces were starting to fit together.

so do the girls showing up prove that Miracle (Jarden) is, in fact "Miraculous" (no departeds)?

I think the most interesting part of the episode was the confirmation that Isaac actually has "the gift" via his knowledge of Meg's mom's walnut salad. I think that's the first time in the series that has flat-out confirmed a supernatural element. Everything else up to this point could possibly be explained by psychosis, paranoia, or some other science-y reason. It makes me re-think whether Holy Wayne or Ghost Patti were real also.

I guess you both already forgot about the dead guy crawling outta the ground lol

I can live with that ending, another season might just annoy me since I assume itd focus on the cult.

I haven't read most of this thread to avoid spoilers. I'm through about the first half of season 1 and basically just want to know if I should keep watching...

In other words, if this is getting cancelled, will it be worth it to watch through season 2?

Season 2 was an entertaining watch but I thought the finale underwhelmed. I would like this show to get a third season but wont be too broken up if it does not.

I'm kind of in the same boat. If it's cancelled I'd still love to see something from the writers on what the direction was going to be. Such a bizarre show.

I would also agree with everyone else, it is not a show I am craving for every week but then again when I see it on the DVR I watch it right way. It's so weird and messed up I somewhat want to know what is going to happen.

Just finished the finale. Very strange. This show is so messed up that I agree a third season would get annoying. I really don't care about the cult so I hope if it's extended that I has nothing to do with them. Season 2 overall was great, in my opinion. The weirdness is what kept me watching.

It's like driving past a car wreck. Uncomfortable to look at but you just can't look away.

I hope it comes back. Can't wait to see how much weirder it can get.

Hope they do a nice job of wrapping everything up in the coming season. Knowing its the last season should allow the writers to develop a satisfying ending.

HAHAHAHA.....oh.....you're being serious?

I feel like answering questions and wrapping things up nicely would largely diminish my interest in the show. I can get tame and formulaic elsewhere. It's straight guano, and I love it.....I think....maybe I hate it....not sure...

Edit: I'll also add that I think the music is exceptional.

We're watching it. At the end of every episode, the wife looks at me and pretty much says....WAT?!

We both dig it though, I really want to see how they wrap it up and potentially rewatch the three seasons binge style and see how I feel about it.

This is how I feel about it. It's been awhile since it last aired and it's tough to remember every single detail w/o going back and watching the other seasons.

I was looking at my posts in this thread last night and I couldn't even remember what I was talking about. This show is so weird that it's hard to comprehend a lot of what's going on.

This season has made me hate Nora. Her character annoys me. I hope it doesn't carry over to Fargo.

Just watched the season premier on the DVR. This show is bullshit. I freaking love it. And I freaking hate it.

Okay so....Anyone understand wtf that last episode was about? Pretty terrible, for being the 2nd last episode in the series, IMO.

Agree. Really liked where it was going, then the last episode killed a lot of that momentum IMO.

I've given up trying to figure this show out. Unless I'm blown away by the finale, this will be the Ben Koyack of HBO series.

SPOILERS BELOW:

Thought it was really, really good, maybe a bit ambitious but I thought they nailed it. Whole episode was basically a look into Kevin's mind. He could never commit to a life with Nora and was using the second "dimension" or whatever you want to call it as a way to escape from reality for a little while - that's why he's been suffocating himself with the plastic bag. The whole storyline with the identical twin brother and the romance novel was a metaphor for Kevin finally looking at himself in the mirror and realizing what he's been doing - running from his problems via "death." Once Kevin comes to that realization he literally nukes the world to which he's escaping so he can never go back there again. I'm very interested to see what impact Kevin's actions in the other dimension have in the one the majority of the show has been set in - my suspicion is Lindelof will leave it vague both in our eyes and in the eyes of the characters, but we'll see.

I read the finale leaves absolutely no room for a continuation or spinoff. So we have 60 minutes to put together the rest of a 1,000 piece puzzle that's half done.
