Is that what it says? Because if so, it isn't accurate at all. There are more teams that have played at least that many AP ranked teams "when they played."

Yeah, go take a look. It's under the NCAAT25 section.

And also on top of like you said, it says it's the "most in nation without a loss."

That's a hard stretch using a skeptical "at time of play" non playoff ranking to prop them up some.

This Navy loss is admittedly going to hurt us much more than any close win we've had recently I think.

Navy will stay in the top 25. It would have been nice to see them win so we could potentially say we had two top 15 wins, but it's not the end of the world.

Beat Stanford, hope OU loses. If that happens, we're in. If not, we're not. Navy winning wouldn't have changed that.

Yeah, we're in trouble. Teams like Navy don't get the benefit of the doubt when they lose like this.

Navy has really never been a top 20 team. They had not beat anyone outside of a decent Memphis team. They were there by default.

The way this offense has run the only win I see at Stanford is a close one and I'm not sure even with an OU loss that would be enough.

Kelly said something about his team pulling off the gas when they get a lead and that he needs more of a killer instinct himself. I couldn't agree more with that.

I'd like to see them air raid Stanford on Saturday. It might be our only chance to win convincingly.

at this point it really doesn't matter what Navy does. stomp Stanford, hope OK at minimum struggles, hope for a usc victory this week, hope for a temple victory next week. add a little chaos in the big ten, the iron bowl, or for an FSU win....

most important, stomp Stanford

For the future we should know the committee holds no regard to strength of schedule.

Nebraska beats Iowa, Iowa beats Sparty. Does the Big 10 get left out?

Can't get past the fact that Oklahoma lost to texas.... so bummed

Agree, the committee is not even looking at losses apparently. This is playing out like what we have seen for years with the SEC. Schedule mostly cupcakes OOC and have teams in your conference falsely elevated so when you beat each other, you are losing to a "top 10 team".

In what world is our strength of schedule good this year? We played one good team and lost.

We've played only one really bad team. That helps. But what really good team have we beaten?

Apparently we have beaten a few solid teams. The last I checked our SOS was top 20 where a team like Iowa is in the 60's. I can't find one official ranking. The only one I don't even bother to check is ESPN's.

Yeah, Iowa's clearly got a worse schedule than us. But they're undefeated. I think it's the consensus opinion that a one loss Iowa would not be in over a one loss ND, but an undefeated B1G champion Iowa would be.

We really really need Iowa to lose this game, but Nebraska's doing everything they can to make sure that doesn't happen.

I don't think we do. I think the B1G will get one team. I'd prefer that it's Iowa.

Iowa needs to lose and then beat Mich St in the championship game... given they beat Penn State first. That would open a slot potentially for the Irish.
