Recent Michigan State decommit who Loy put as a 'best guess' to end up in ND's class on NSD today. Per Loy, ND has been in contact before and after his decommitment and are doing the do diligence on his academics right now.

At his height, they might be projecting him as a DE?

Thought it was said that he decomitted because he is interested in playing offense.

according to 247 msu site---- multiple sources have said Morris has been a 'knuckle head' through out his recruiting process...MSU supposedly knew for a while he wasn't going to be a part of their class

MSU recruiting this year was strange as heck, took a bunch of early commits from kids who probably won't work out. Went against their traditional and successful pattern of taking 3 star guys with the chip on the shoulder attitude.

He seems like he is a pretty good wide receiver from the times I've seen him play. It would be nice to get a player out of a Holy Cross school in Akron, there are some decent players coming through Hoban.

Gavin Cupp type of knuckle head where he's looking around? or an actual knuckle head?

Saw this dude on TV earlier in the year. Kid's a stud. Playing WR for his high school team, who is picked to win a state title.

I don't go on other teams message boards but I think they mean looking around, cause he went to OSU's Friday night lights but didn't compete. Also if OSU offered they may be hard to beat with his two teammates Danny Clark and Todd Sibley committed.

His highlights were fun to watch. Can't wait to see his senior film. Hope we get him!

He may be a really good player, I haven't seen his tape yet but I have seen Hansford, McCullough and... all 19 seconds of Hayes' high school highlights. This can only mean they aren't sure they can land enough from that pool to be adding to it. Dat makes sad I.

Sounds like he will be in town for the banquet. We want him at linebacker per Ivins and probably playing CAT. Don't we project Morgan and Perry there? Now take another project with Morris? Unless Perry and Morgan staying at safety? Can't have enough athletes on D though.

Yea, thats my opinion at least. Can't have too many 6'3-6'4 guys that want to fly around and tackle folks. In general, these are the type of athletes I like taking. I'd also add that the LB haul is looking pretty limited at this point so bringing in some hybrid guys that can move there in time makes sense for this class as LB isn't a need but more of a luxury. Next class, we'll have more of a need for traditional LB's.

He had a great game this past weekend. A fumble recovery returned for a TD and had a very nice 45yd catch. STVM didn't throw to his side of the field that much from what I can remember.

Per Loy it sounds like position is a fairly big deal here. Wants an opportunity to play WR and if we do that he probably ends up Irish.

Josh Hemboldt seems to think he'd be a very good WR. Also thinks he'd be a very bad defender.

Yeah he is like maybe 190 wringing wet. I mean that's a lot of weight to put on to play LB and with the players we have there now, I don't think he would see the field. Now WR I think he could play and do well.
