Damn if everything stays the same, ND will get a rematch vs Clemson and Alabama will play Ohio State in the playoffs. F***ing awesome!

I could see OSU getting the #1 seed over Clemson. Mich St, Michigan, and then Iowa (strong or not) on the Buckeye schedule will be difficult for Clemson to overcome given the relative strength of the ACC overall. The Irish win may be enough for the Tigers, but I gotta think it will be close.

They do have the Fla St win and will probably play UNC in the ACC CG, but I just don't know if that's going to be enough. We will see. A lot of football left.

I dunno. If Baylor or Okie St run the table and Clemson loses along the way, it may get a little scray. The Irish need Stanford to win up until the Irish game as well.

Baylor and Okl St. both can't win out because they play each other next weekend, 11/21.

IF I was on the committee, I would have watched that Baylor KState game thoroughly, and seen KState just bulldoze the center of the Baylor DLine, and thought: Heck these guys absolutely stink on defense. They couldn't beat anyone who was a solid well balanced team. What possible reason would I have other than a sympathy vote to rank them over almost anybody? Only Oklahoma beating Tennessee gives me any reason to respect the conference at this point at all.

Get up three tds early and then start weeding out the starters. Can't have injuries in these type of games. Any win by 14+ won't hurt the Irish. What could hurt more is the drop in SOS due to the two opponents. Can't worry about that however.

I wouldn't say they don't respect for them. They just realize that they haven't played any meaningful games yet... outside the Okie St - TCU game. It will be hard to keep an undefeated Big 12 team out.

They could be looking at these teams and don't like the fact that they don't play defense.

I could agree with that given the former coaches who are on the committee. And personally, I really have a hard time watching these Big 12 teams play for that very reason.
