It will come back around. Right now, teams are deciding to focus on AJ still, and giving no help in the seam and/or wherever Eifert is.

Eventually, someone is going to tell their CB that it's time to man-up on AJ for the day, because the help is rolling towards Eifert on 3rd down and in the red zone. AJ then profits.

saw the box score and saw Eifert' stats. (who my weekly opponent has). Checked the FF app and he only had like 20.5 pts in my league. Ben Watson had 1 TD for me last week and over a 100 yards receiving and he got more FF pts than that

23 points for me. I was able to take him 10th round of my 12 person league, I might have been the last team to pick up a TE. By far best value pick of my draft, although I took Carson Palmer in the 11th round, that is working out pretty well also.

It may depend on the league. Getting three touchdowns and only 24 points for me is not killing it.

I got more points out of him a couple weeks ago and he only had one touchdown but had a bunch of catches like 160 yards. He scored like 38 points for me that week.

In my 'serious' league we get 1 pt per 10 yds and 6 per TD. Last night he got 23. Pretty good number being that any time you break 100 you're likely to win. However, that number is weak for someone who scores 3 TDs. His yardage sufferers being he's not throw to much outside of the red zone.

Not mad at all. But I would like to 'revisit' our scoring set up. Lol. However, I'm out of that league after this year. Pretty decent group of friends, but the commish pissed me off and toed the line of cheating on a decision to benefit his team. I'm currently #2 playing the guy sitting at #1. Last night was a decent start.

He killed it for me. 23.30 pts. Don't even really care though. I am more proud of what he is doing representing TE U the way he has been. This dude has overcome a lot and is finally healthy, getting to show the league he is a force to be reckoned.

Exactly. When I heard three TD's this AM I was expecting close to 40. Then I saw his yardage and knew it wasn't going to be a huge score. I am still happy with it, just had my expectations set a little higher.

He could have just as easily had 5 catches for 53 yards and no touchdowns and then you would really be in an early hole.

TE point scoring is never that big a deal though. Asides from Eifert and Gronk not many put up monster numbers in FF consistently.

Exactly. Anything over 10 is gravy for a TE.

When your TE starts the week off with 23 points it a huge differential over what anyone but Gronk is going to do against you. When you can actually count on double digits consistently from the position it is a HUGE advantage, IMO. Most of the TEs are only reliable for 2-4 points with 8-10 happening if they get a TD. Guys like Gronk and Eifert would be on your roster even if you didn't have a dedicated TE position.

Scoring 100 points consistently in our league is pretty good. If you can do that you will be in the playoffs most likely. Getting about a fourth of the way there on your TE is a BFD. Just like double digits from your defense, bonus.

Exactly. I have Eifert, and my opponent this week has Dalton. After last night, I'm down 27-25.5 (0.5 ppr league). Being down 1.5 pts when the opponent has rolled out a QB and you a TE is freaking huge.

One guy had Gronk as his keeper, I picked up someone just about as good in the 10th round. That is a thing of beauty.

That Cleveland TE has put up some big numbers too, didn't realize he was #2 in the league leading up to last night.

Maybe in 2014, but in 2015 he only led all TEs in TDs for the regular season, and was #5 in overall TDs scored.
