The best team Baylor has faced so far is 5-4 on the year.

Their schedule is 20-36.

That 5-4 team's losses are to opponents who are a combined 30-1 too.

Well I doubt they would jump us ... Especially if we run the table with a win over Stanford, the likely PAC champion. So I guess it does t matter all that much. I still want Baylor to lose. Their schedule is not worthy of their status, IMO.

Tim Cowlishaw (from Dallas) just had a lot of negative things to say about ND. He basically thinks it's a joke Baylor is ranked below ND, and "they only beat Temple by 4. If Baylor went to Temple, they'd win by 35."

Maybe they should have scheduled Temple, then. Or anyone worth a damn, as opposed to the teams they actually scheduled.

The question was "Would you rather play in one of the other New Year's 6 games (Peach, Fiesta, etc.) and win, or make the playoff, but lose the semifinal game?"
wizards said the 3 hours of the bowl against LSU was great, but December before Alabama was better. I preferred the LSU win and road that fuzzy feeling through the off season.

Our Temple win isn't impressive. At all. USC is down. Navy is Navy. GTech sucks. Virginia is garbage. Texas is a disgrace. UMass - enough said. If that reads like a top 5-15 schedule, you may be illiterate. Don't get me wrong, I'm fucking thrilled that we're where we are, but let's not kid ourselves... our brand name has helped a lot. Our best win is our loss to Clemson, and even their schedule isn't impressive.

Navy and Temple have only lost to us. That's impressive---ask former #1 Ole Miss how tough the AAC is this year. USC turned around after our game and beat the #3 ranked team like a redheaded stepchild, then stomped on a good Cal team's black heart. Texas has been hit or miss, seeing as how they've sucked in a few games but had the firepower to beat Oklahoma.
