Seems forever ago doesn't it. Hard not to pull for him. Maybe 4 1/2 years later he's ready to roll, be his own man.

He was always his own man. He wasn't always a student. He's had multiple high schools and multiple colleges both at the Div1 and JUCO levels and pissed away a bunch of time.

He never qualified for the NCAA Clearinghouse requirement of Sliding GPA/Test Score. I believe he also had core course requirement issues. By going to JUCO he was able to circumvent the NCAA HS requirements if he performed satisfactorily as a JUCO student. Apparently he did.

Its doable. This guy is sharp IMO.

This guy is clearly prematurely gray. No one old enough to have pure white hair has skin like that. He has thick skin still and clearly a young face. I'd put this guy at 50.

I know some guys that are getting salt and pepper in their hair, and they're just over 30. It's possible!

My bro in law was practically gray by 25.

A thought that is probably dumb:

If Tee is struggling with having to turn around to look at the rest of the defense to see the signals for the defensive calls, why not try him at safety?

He would be the deepest man, and could make the calls and/or see the field and the other defenders making signals without having to turn around and risk missing the snap.

I'm sure the biggest obstacles are (1) can he play safety at all and (2) does he have the physicality to do it and (3) perhaps this is just Freeze protecting him a bit with the on-field reasoning, and really it's just not working out again.

He was starting CB too, correct? Wonder if there was more to the story. Sad that it never worked out for him here.
Wish him well, and happy he's going for that degree.

Sorry to hear this. Still, wishing Tee nothing but the best. Get the degree and make sure your best days are ahead of you.

Saw on Twitter Greenberry's dad was apparently murdered last year and his brother was recently arrested for double homicide. Tragic shit.

This has been a long and winding road through multiple high schools and multiple colleges. He's had a hearing disability throughout. Supposedly at Mississipi he had trouble when the defense audibilized a change in coverage. Couldn't this have been handled by hand signals?

Couldn't he still play as a gunner on punt coverage and play on the K.O. Teams?

I read both Tee's statement and his coaches. Is Tee staying on a non athletic medical scholarship? Tee seemed to be tired of playing and the coach seems to be saying he wants Tee to continue but wishes him well. Neither addressed a career ending injury qualifying for a medical scholarship.

Stuck me as yet another awkwardly explained chapter in the Shepard Saga.

Just sad. At least he is trying to stay away from the BS.

Good to see he is on track to get his degree. Wish it had been a ND degree though.

I wonder if it is true. Could Old Miss have recruited Tee at the last minute to keep him from actually going to Miss State? Shades of Woody Hayes!

You recruit a guy to sit him on the bench. So he doesn't play for your rival!

If this is true, then Old Miss has found a new level of compost to which they aspire.

I hope Tee comes out of this well.
