Yeah the best one might be Florida - Georgia and that's not in the ABC / ESPN lineup. CBS has it.The slate of games that weekend are sorta craptastic, so...

I can just hear the 'experts' pissing and moaning about a playoff spot if ND wins out... "The best team they beat all year was Temple!!!"
Considering how flat ND has been lately, I would not be too sure. Especially after the USC game, which should be an emotionally draining game, either because ND comes out with a ton of emotion and destroys USC or they come out flat and have to come back to win, or lose. An emotionally drained Irish team could be ripe for an upset.
I still think ND wins, but you cannot make a prediction, or a solid one, so far out ahead of the actual game, IMHO.
We get a bye in between so the emotional impact should die down either way.
I still don't think this is an easy game. I hope we win 28-10 but this team, along with Pitt are better teams then they get credited and make our schedule more difficult then it appears.
Interesting whispers around these parts.
Unless Stanford turns out to be un-garbage, they'd be right.
U$C could start winning too. they have the talent. 3 loss U$C at the end of the year, having knocked off Utah and whoever else will look pretty solid too. As would 1-loss Temple, especially if we murder them.
Temple doesn't play anyone the rest of the year...... so if we smash them, they are out of the top 25 and won't get back in

They still have to play Memphis
Why is the game time such a secret? We all know ND will be pimped and placed in the prime spot.
If they beat Memphis won't they play Houston in their conference championship? Regarfless I don't think they'll beat Memphis, and I sure as hell don't think they'll beat Houston.Yeah.. I missed that... Well I stand corrected.. Very likely a 11-1 Temple ends year in the top 25 of the PC rankings
They sold a ton of season tickets this year with ND and Penn State in the same season.Thats a lot more then they've gotten in previous years
Outside shot at Gameday if Temple beats ECU this Thursday?

It will be the Gameday game I assume unless they do that thing where they find some Ivy/FCS/D3 rivalry game to go to instead. Florida/Georgia is the next best game and that's on CBS so they might pass on it. It is a very weak slate of games that week. Maybe they'll do USC/Cal if USC can knock of Utah this week...
They're going to Richmond at James Madison this week.It will be the Gameday game I assume unless they do that thing where they find some Ivy/FCS/D3 rivalry game to go to instead.
Pac 12 gamedays suck. West coast fans and a 6:00 AM start time are a bad mix for crowd enthusiasm. As much as I would love for GameDay to be there, having tickets to the game. I think the "A" option for ESPN would be Stanford at Washington State because of the PAC 12 North implications if they both win this upcoming week. Temple not having an on campus football field would probably be a hurdle, and GameDay already being at one of our games hurts us. However, I am saying this with no inside info at all, just how I feel.
